“Really good place to know so much about the US air force history. If you are a motorcycle enthusiast, this place is so much for you, right from early evolution of motorcycles to how they finally evolved into what they are today and everything about the engineering and cosmetics has been collected and depicted here!
This museum is situated on the John Wayne airport so you’ll frequently see aircrafts taking off and landing. There is a small movie hall too which was plays short movies about the world war history, air force history, evolution of motorcycles etc. Every artifact has been labelled nicely so you can go through the read and know in depth of the significance of those artifacts/ elements displayed.”
“We had a wonderful room, beautiful view and great service! Thank you James for accommodating us!
Rooms: Very clean room, comfortable bed, spacious room with a gorgeous view of the beach and ocean!
Safety: I felt very safe.
Walkability: Easy access around the resort and to the beach.
Food and drinks: Many great choices! The food and drink at the Watertable were fantastic!”
“We took our son and some friends here for his birthday. This place has the wow factor the minute you walk in. It is big, well lit, clean and staffed with friendly and helpful people. The game and VR selection was varied and hi tech. We bought the 2 hour package and everyone enjoyed delicious food and drinks that were included from the Cafe. Highly recommend this place for a great entertainment experience.”
“I went here for a special event that was being hosted by a friend. I found the food is delicious, the service is excellent, and the facility was beautiful. I don't think I've ever seen an Elks Lodge that is as nice as this. A great place to host events!”
“The Marconi Automotive Museum is a hidden gem for car enthusiasts, boasting an impressive collection of rare and exotic vehicles. The staff is knowledgeable and the exhibits are well-maintained, making it a must-visit for anyone passionate about automobiles.”

“Cory helped me tremendously! I needed help and Cory bent over backwards to help me. So thankful for the veterans and the entire 291 Legion for helping me. Couldn’t have asked for better people. God bless.”
“Excellent meeting place 9:30-12N for about 50 of us. Delicious steak salad, various breads, dessert. Coffee self serve throughout. Professional servers during our business without disruption. Convenient parking.”
“Just finished a nice long weekend getaway with the dog. We booked the Oceanview suite to take advantage of the spacious rooms and had a great time. There's a lot of neat little perks to this hotel. Extremely dog friendly Water station available all day Coffee available in the morning (complimentary) - I also saw some free pizza slices by the coffee bar Wine social hour (complimentary) S'mores kits to enjoy with their fire pits You can borrow items for the beach and also boards and bikes. Dog beds Vinyl records players with a library of vinyls ( the collection was okay had a lot of beach vibe type of albums ) + more Like this place thinks of everything. The stay was very pleasant and all the staff were very friendly to engage with. It's centrally located to the beach and pier along within walking distances of plenty of shops and restaurants in the area. I highly recommend this hotel if you're planning a beach getaway”
“Honestly, if I would have seen an advertisement for a string quartet playing Beatle music, I would probably not have gone. Put several hundred candles on the floor and call it a Candlelight Concert, now that caught my attention. I enjoyed it immensely. I will be attending more of these Candlelight Concerts.”

“Me and my family stayed here for two nights. The staff was AMAZING. All the staff (the front desk attendants, the cleaners, everyone) was so kind and accommodating. The place was so incredibly beautiful! It was so beautiful outside; the lawns and pool looked amazing, the little buildings such as the creamerie were so clean and amazing. The hotel room, the Balboa Cottage, was a three story apartment; a full kitchen with a dishwasher, knife set, glassware, microwave and a huge fridge, two bedrooms and three bathrooms with 4 different outside patios (one off each bedroom and two separate rooftop patios on each side, including a working fireplace and grill.) The bedrooms were spacious and clean along with cute decorations. It was all amazing and it was just a great experience. However there were a few shortcomings to take note of.
1. The dishwasher throughout the first night incessantly beeps and chimed every few minutes as if someone was pressing the buttons. Normally this would not affect the experience except for the fact I was sleeping on the pull out sofa bed next to it. It kept me up and no matter what I did it would not stop. The maintenance staff sent someone out the next day and disconnected it and gave us a discount on our stay. Problem solved
2. The upstairs bedroom with two beds did not have a door that wouldn’t close. It would open randomly and slide open. Again, maintenance came and fixed it shortly.
3. The washer and dryers did not work properly. The washing machine wouldn’t spin so maintenance came and had to fix it. The dryer would stop after about 5 min after we started it. It took us 5 hours to get to one load of laundry dried.
Overall, yes there were little shortcomings, but the care and attention of the staff and how quickly they were solved made up for it ten fold. I highly recommend stopping here!”
“We love this place. Is it a 5 star hotel or resort? No... But it's nice, clean and the staff are super friendly and helpful. A very short walk to the beach and close to Balboa and shopping with really good food within walking distance. For us, there isn't any reason to stay anywhere else!”
“It's free to walk around the garden and definitely the garden is worth seeing. The landscape is beautifully maintained. To go Inside the heritage buildings there is a 10$ fee. The garden is only open for the public on Saturday till 2p. Most Saturdays they have events going on and the public is not allowed, you wouldn't see a sign that tells that there events going on at the entrance and is closed to the public when you try to do a walk in without checking their website.”
“Very large theater, 10? Selections to choose from. Reclining chairs, selection of adult and other beverages. Parking structure and surrounded by eateries. Beach Blvd and Edinger.”
“We had our perfect wedding at Fete the Venue on 11/11/23 and we loved this venue! When I started to look for venues I fell in love with them immediately, but kept looking because I felt it was too good to be true to find a venue this quickly. But as I continued my search, I came to realize that it is too good, and it is true! Sarah was great to work with and she was our main contact at Fete. There were times where I would have to re-email her to get a response, but I had to do this with other vendors as well. Even with a few delayed responses, she was kind and professional. The Venue also made it easy to switch payment methods when needed. She gave us a lot of good recommendations and was so easy going and accommodating with a lot of our requests. She definitely wanted to make sure we had a great time. We had 9 bridesmaids and 8 groomsmen and I felt we were able to fit in the Bride and groom's Suite just fine. We did also have parents, and vendors floating around too and it still felt comfortable. But more than that, maybe not haha. When we did our initial walk through with Sarah we saw the groom's suite and it was not bad, but ever since they updated it, I could not wait to get my husband in there and see all of the photos from the day! It is so sleek and just gorgeous. Any groom and his party would think it was perfect for them. I'm glad both parties were able to get perfect spaces. A few things I would bring to any bride and groom's attention about Fete is that they have some restrictions and requirements such as no fog machines, dry ice machines, no sparklers, and no shots at the bar. And if you would like a signature drink at your wedding, you HAVE to get the top drink package or pay for each signature drink individually. They state this is because the signature drink will most likely be the most popular drink (Which it may be) and they will need to buy more of the ingredients to comply with the demand. I understand this, just wish I would have known this prior. However, we still had the open bar and our guests were happy with the drinks and beers that were available. Also all vendors must sign a one time vendor agreement, and provide proof of insurance. Our hair and make-up artist were freelance and did not have insurance, but Sarah provided me with a web page to get a day of insurance for about $100-$120. Our Hair and make up artist were accommodating and we were able to get that easily taken care of. So if you have your dream vendor picked out but they are not insured, that is a conversation you will need to have with them, and another task to do. But most vendors will have likely run into this before so it wasn't an issue as they know the drill. With that being said, I understand as a business why they do this. But as the consumer, it is information to know to see if this is your perfect venue. Another piece of information is that Fete has a list of exclusive caters that they offer you to use, but if you decide to go with an outside caterer, they charge a $2,500 buy out fee. We did go with one of their exclusive caterers (All Above Catering), and we were more than happy with them. This venue and the exclusive caterer did not charge a service fee, which I think is huge. Outside caterers were quoting us thousands, and sometimes charging more than what was offered with Fete. So with the service fee from other caterers, and the buy out fee, it just made more financial sense to go with an exclusive vendor. Another reason to go wit an exclusive vendor is because you know they will work well with the venue and you can have the piece of mind that both vendors will keep the other in check. I will say we did spend a pretty penny on our entire wedding, and of course, food, drinks, and venue were a big chunk of that, but I wouldn't change a thing. After our wedding we were surprised to find a card in the mail a few weeks after our wedding from Fete with a thank you and congratulatory message. We thought that was so sweet and a nice touch. The venue is beautiful and they seem to always be making”
“A very nice rental venue for small parties and events. The owners are good communicators. The space is excellent with ta les and chairs provoded already. There is also a big TV screen and a back patio. There is a refrigerator and freezer and restroom. Very versatile space. Very professional.”
“First time there for me and my son. Wonderful service from staff from beginning to end. Always polite and respectful. We plan on coming back. Nurse John was funny but Nick Guerra was awesome! Thank you Improve for a great time!”
“I had such a great night at Bowlero. I came here to give a special shoutout to Amy for providing exceptional service. She was extremely accommodating and went above and beyond to make sure all the guests were happy. Her hard work and dedication to customer service really stood out. Thank you, Amy, for making the experience so enjoyable!”
“Okay seriously if you have e kinds 10 and under you MUST go here! I had a 2 and 4 year old and they absolutely loved it! We easily spent 4 hours doing all kinds of fun things and they still didn't want to go.
Super clean, super creative and staff was amazing.
There's a fire station, library, trader Joes, suburu car station with gas, stem area, garden, ups, postal service, police station, water play area, sand box, arts and crafts secrion...I mean there were tons more! Just go, atleast once for the kids. :)”
“Bison tour for 4 on August 13 at 10 a.m. 2 hours of expedition in the columns of the island to discover the History and life on the island with a great guide Halvey who provides commentary throughout the circuit. Hamer type car with 3 rows of 4. Shaky and dizzy at times. A good time on the heights and inside the island and meeting 3 bison. I recommend. No need to rent a golf cart.”
“We had the honor of hosting our wedding here at The Harper on 1/19. From start to finish, Jess was such a great help. We’ve obviously never done this before and she was there every step of the way to answer any questions we had. Not only did we get referred to a Wedding Planner, but they made it easy to find all vendors we needed. They broke down all the information we needed with contacts and websites. It was such a smooth sailing process. Perry and I could not have been more blessed to find this venue. It is beautiful inside and out and it made our night very memorable. They were always willing to help and answer any and all of our questions. Trust me, when I thought I had stupid a question, they made me feel like it was an important question.Roomforty (f&b) were a pleasure to work with. They were there every step of the day to make sure our guests and us (the bride and groom) were taken care of. Everyone enjoyed their service and we received so many compliments on their behalf. Food and drinks were amazing. Everyone just enjoyed their hospitality and they even enjoyed themselves as well. Such friendly personalities and got along well with our guests.”
“So happy to have worked with several Axis locations and their amazing teams. Their facilities, attention to detail, and helpful staff are just a few reasons why you should partner with them for your next training or event. I cannot recommend them enough!”
“This Cozy Charming Establishment is a home away from home. The staff are friendly and professional.
The Rooftop Ocean view restaurant has great food and a delicious Brunch on Saturday & Sunday. To top this hotel experience off was the kindness of one of the Managers Jim Hall. He went above and beyond to make sure our stay at the hotel was perfect, he was such a delight.. We will definitely be back…”
“The first thing I want to say is that they always receive you with great kindness and that they treat us all with respect, be they children, adolescents or adults. Thank you for the services you offer to the community.”
“This will be a party service based review for Dalma, Ivy, Riley, Hagen, and Khaleel as opposed to the movie experience.
We came here to celebrate our cousin's 40th birthday. It was a blast having the whole venue all to ourselves. Open bar, catered food, live band, you name it! People walking outside were even surprised you could make party reservations at this location!
We had quite a few kids come though making a mess though ?. But after seeing the hard work Dalma, Ivy, Riley, Hagen, and Khaleel put into not only the clean up, but also just embodying the chill guy/girl meme when it came to their kindness and customer service, especially with the kids, I knew these weren't your regular movie employees. They really gave it their all in their job and are quality people. Come to this theater soon whether you see movie or reserve a party while these employees are there. Because with their quality of work, they'll probably move into bigger careers in life, so come soon while they're still working here for impeccable service!
10 stars out of 5. They went above and beyond. Highly recommended.”
