“My partner and I went in for a couple backpacks for an upcoming trip and had spent about 2 hours painstakingly narrowing it down. As we were wrapping up, we asked an associate for some input and to make sure we'd considered everything, and to see if he had any input on one option vs. another. Conner was absolutely INCREDIBLE. He went into specific details about our options, pros and cons of each, appropriate sizing for our needs, pulled other options that would be worth consideration, and even pulled out his own personal backpack to look at while we were talking through options. I left feeling completely confident in my decision (a pack Conner pulled out specifically and helped me size), and having been shown all the cool features, best way to pack it for my needs, and was pointed to the packable packs that I wanted to make sure I had as part of my arsenal. Conner answered all of our many, many questions and spent so much time talking with us and giving a number of different scenarios that only someone who is an expert in their knowledge can give. “Posting this a bit late but needed to give a shout out to Ruby and Deirdra! I started a new job that requires a lot of travel and needed a new travel bag for my computer, notebooks, etc, etc that needs to go everywhere with me. I had an old Lululemon bag that I've been holding onto for years that is FANTASTIC, but had a broken zipper. Had plenty of people say tell Lulu and they'll replace it, but was a no go when it broke. Went Had a couple of items that had issues (broken zipper, tiny holes in weird places) that I had friends and family say tell Lululemon and they'll replace it, but was always a no go, which everyone I told (who shops at Lululemon) were always very surprised about. So on a whim I brought the bag I had with the broken zipper into the Corte Madera store to see if they could just replace the zipper (since they already do alterations) and ended up talking with Ruby. She left to ask someone (since she's a new salesperson, which I didn't know at the time) and she came back with "unfortunately they said we can't". Told her I wasn't surprised and told her about my experiences asking about some of the issues I've had with items over the years (3 or 4 times over the past 15-20 years) and never being able to get any help or replacements for anything. She said hold on, and left to speak with her manager (Deirdra). When she came back she said they couldn't fix or exchange my bag since they no longer had it in stock, but they'd be happy to replace it with a different bag, free of charge. She also said Deirdra said to bring in the other items I had that have issues and that they'd address them. I was kinda floored because I've always gotten a "sorry, we can't help you" response, so I didn't expect anything, but was very touched by them both going out of their way to help me, and they were both so extremely (and genuinely) sweet about everything... They both said they hated to hear I had bad experiences and wanted to fix that! Honestly, just them trying to help was enough, but they both went the extra mile (Ruby being brand new was extra impressive), and I'll be coming back to this location (which is WAY out of my way) because of that! “Just got GREAT deals-tall Inlet jacket, (dress blue), flurry turtleneck (white)...Illume SPF top (gray heather), got to get summer wardrobe ready...I'm a coffee shopper, cannot resist app shopping while having AN coffee. I am addicted to Athleta!!! They are the best - at 5'11" there are very few options - although I have to order talls online, I can still try most things on in the store & can figure out what I want to order. Athleta carries petites & plus sizes, and has lots of sales (check out the website, or the rack at that back of the store). Athleta just sent me a $50 gift card - I like the perks! I'll try out their online exercise & wellness classes next.”
