“My mini, Baguette, recently saw Dr. Emelie. She was so kind and patient with her. She examined her for a possible pregnancy with blood work and an ultrasound. While Baguette did not like the examination process, Dr. Emelie was sooo kind and patient with her. Having had the experience of other large animal veterinarians, I have found my new vet for Baguette and my other minis. Thank you so much Dr. Emelie!!”

“I can't say enough good things about Dr. Kong, her medical assistant Carol, and the other staff members at Cotati Small Animal Hospital. Our 12-year-old dog arrived in serious condition, and, while there is no cure for his kidney failure, Dr. Kong came up with a treatment plan that is enabling him to enjoy life again for as long as he has left. His eyes are bright again; he has a little pep; she has helped bring him back from death's door. The folks there all treat our little guy with tenderness and treat us with compassion. Dr. Kong also helped us consider the costs of different treatment paths so we could decide what was right for us. Plus, she calls after hours, after long days treating patients, to give us updates when necessary.”

“Thank you to Dr Davis and Dr Kong (also Dante, super sweet tech we saw all the time! He was so gentle and patient with her. Sorry she hated the thermometer so much!!!) for almost 4 years of looking after our beloved super-senior calico kitty Birdie. She passed 6 months ago at almost 22-years-old. From monthly arthritis injections to bi-yearly senior blood panels (not to mention all the odds and ends in between), she was a frequent flier at CSAH. They always treated us with respect, patience, and care; this cat was everything to me, and I was very much a helicopter pet-parent, but they were nothing less than patient and caring with my countless questions and concerns. Not to mention, any senior pet owner knows that care is costly, and they did their best to keep it reasonable and affordable in the long-term for us. Very rare to experience in the day and age of VCA or other corporate owned practices. They are small and rural, and it shows, but only in the best ways. Thank you to everyone on staff. They sent the most touching card to us after Birdie’s passing, and we will remember them forever. The only drawback (not willing to knock a star for this) is that hours are pretty hard to work around for meds and RX food. If you work regular weekday hours, you basically need to use their website for delivery or you’ll never be able to pick up your stuff. However that’s not necessarily uncommon for a small practice like this and I wouldn’t let it discourage you. They are great doctors and a lovely establishment, just plan ahead if you regularly need prescriptions.”

From the dedicated care they have given my Toby to the incredible support they’ve provided every time I travel internationally with him, they have always gone above and beyond. They have helped me navigate all the bureaucracy and paperwork involved in international travel, and I’m incredibly grateful for their support. Most recently, when I called to share the heartbreaking news that we had just discovered Toby has cancer, I was overwhelmed by the kindness and compassion I received—from the receptionist to the veterinarians. Everyone was so caring, supportive, and understanding during such a difficult time. I cannot express how thankful I am to have a veterinary team that I can fully trust, especially during one of the hardest moments we’ve ever faced.
