“Our afternoon began rough as our Kia Forte rented from a location in CO got a flat—in an area with absolutely no cellphone service. Upon finding out there was no spare tire or patch kit in the car, we began a 5 mile trek in search of help. After finding a call box by the side of US 101, we got help and managed to pay an extraordinary amount for a tow truck to deliver us to the nearest Budget-Crescent City Budget. We were annoyed our car did not have a spare, and maybe a little extra irritated during the heat of the situation. The folks at Crescent City Budget completely turned out moods around as we showed up with the car on the tow truck ready for the worst (no rentals available, refusal to swap the car, pay for the fix out of pocket). However, we were in and out of there within 3 minutes: they took the car without questions and gave us a new car.We’re very grateful to have been back on the road so quickly.”
