“The Chevron in Crescent City on Highway 101 has quickly become our trusted pit stop whenever we are spending time in the area. The station layout is incredibly easy to navigate, with plenty of clearance at the pumps, which takes a lot of the stress out of maneuvering around when you are hauling a loaded vehicle or a trailer.
What really sets this specific location apart from a standard gas station is the attached Joe's Chevron Auto Repair & Tire. As someone who spends a lot of time turning wrenches and tackling DIY mechanical repairs in my own garage, I can genuinely appreciate a shop that maintains clean, well-organized service bays. It provides fantastic peace of mind knowing there is a highly competent, full-service garage right on-site just in case you run into any unexpected automotive trouble or need a quick tire check while traveling.
The convenience store itself is always brightly lit and well-stocked, which is a necessity when three kids are eager to grab road trip snacks and cold drinks. The staff working the registers are consistently friendly and efficient, getting us paid and back on the road without any hassle. Whether you just need to top off the tank with reliable fuel, grab some quick refreshments for the family, or need a dependable mechanic in a pinch, this station is exceptionally well-run. I personally only put Chevron gas in my vehicles, everytime I switch to a lower quality fuel I begin to have troubles with my fuel pump etc. I learned my lesson but it took me 30 years!”
“This place is great! They replaced my tail light bulb within ten minutes. I was previously quoted over $200 by a local shop, and told it would take an hour and a half to fix. Another shop in Brookings said it would take too long for them and it was too hard to get to, as I was told by yet another local shop as well. So after three frustrating attempts, the young man at Joe’s had it fixed within ten minutes and charged me $10.00! I gave him $20.00. Needless to say I will definitely be using them for any future work. Thanks so much!”
“My favorite station serving up my favorite cup of coffee. The folks working here are my extended chosen family. Always a kind word and always willing to help. I stop in here almost daily, if not multiple times a day. This is always my number one go~to station for gas, drinks and snacks. Absolutely the best.”
“The Elk Valley Casino has a Fuel Mart near the Casino but you would want to drive from the Fuel Mart as it is an up hill walk that has no sidewalk from or to the Fuel Mart.”

“This place has a hot made to order food inside. As of 8/1/25 around 8:30 am the young lady cashier is rude and short with people. I think she needs to find a new line of work.”
“Very good for a California Gas station. Their food was significantly better than expected considering the location. Bathrooms were outside and unlocked and clean (exhibited a tad of artistry on the walls and toilet).
Gas was expensive but nothing out of the ordinary here. Prices inside the store were normal.
I got breakfast here and was very impressed.
Staff were also very friendly. The gentleman working helped give us recommendations for places to see.”

“I travel from San Bernardino up here and stop at lots of gas stations along the way, seriously the cleanest best smelling bathroom I've EVER used. Everything was stocked and the workers were very nice and friendly. Will definitely be filling up here from now on.”

“Stopped by to fill up and get drinks for my road trip. I bought some postcards and was given great tips by Griz! She suggested the best drive-thru redwood tree is in Leggett and told me about areas where Star Wars, E.T. and various other films were shot.
Thanks to her suggestions, my husband & I were able to visit some truly iconic sights we otherwise may have missed. I appreciate her going above and beyond for me.”
