Plush Puppy
6029 Orange Ave, CypressLora the groomer/owner is an excellent groomer and dog and cat lover. She is also an honest and cool lady. When you first go there, you might see the inside of the shop looks messy, but Lora is very good at what she does, she is on time, reliable, and very good with the dogs and cats. She has groomed our dogs many times of the years and she has never disappointed us. I highly recommend.

Bow Wow Groomers
9967 Walker St, CypressWe have a large, strong dog about 100 lb she does not like to get her nails clipped in like her mom. I called first asked if they could take her. They said yes. Gave me the price. Told me they did not take credit cards. I took her over to the shop. She really does not like to have her nails done. They were able to control her and get her nails done. I will be going back when she needs them done again.

California Pet Grooming School
6052 Lincoln Ave, CypressMy favorite place! They're always so kind to my pup that hates grooming. She's a toy poodle (sweetest girl, but hates grooming) and they even scissor cut her hair since she's scared of the clippers. Love Paw House!!

Lincoln Animal Hospital
5391 Lincoln Ave, CypressWe are beyond thankful for Alex & the team at this veterinary clinic. I brought my dog in during a very scary moment he was breathing hard and I was terrified. They took him in right away without hesitation and treated him with so much care and urgency.
Their professionalism, compassion, and quick action made all the difference. They not only helped my dog feel better, but they also calmed my fears and explained everything clearly. You can tell they genuinely care about the animals and the families who love them.
Thank you ?

Equine Sports Medicine
5550 W Cerritos Ave # C, CypressI have a small riding school and because I teach a lot of children my horses are older so they need veterinary care often. The first time I called Dr. Overly it was 11:15 pm and I was sobbing on the phone about my 33 year old pony. He was at the barn in 15 min, he examined her and told me that she didn't need to be euthanized, explained everything to me, medicated her and off he went. I had never met him and he billed me a couple weeks later. Now I had NEVER EVER had a vet come out so fast, be so gracious and most importantly BILLED ME! Every other vet I called that night said," sure I will come out but it will be $480 to just show up". Thank God that Dr.Overly was the one who actually showed up. Since that night I have used him anytime I needed a vet. He is so nice, fair, understanding, and I trust everything he tells me. There is no nonsense like other vets do with billing, etc.... In response to a review on here.... I have had one mistake on my bill, I called the office and it was fixed no questions asked. I have a very hard time believing his front desk staff is rude. Every single time I have called they are beyond nice. If you want a professional competent vet for your horse please call equine sports medicine...I have been completely satisfied and so has every other person that I know of!

VCA College Park - Ana Brook Animal Hospital
5839 Ball Rd, CypressThey were very helpful. Expensive like everywhere else really. But very nice and attentive. Their recommendationsa felt right on and not blown out of proportion. I'm always afraid of being scammed. But this place was awesome and I highly recommend to anyone who has a pet in need. I only wish I could have afforded at least some of the medicine. But knowing what's wrong has made me able to better care for my pet.

Pet-Friendly Restaurants

The Original Rainbow Cone
9527 Valley View St, CypressWe love the ice cream here! The workers are incredibly sweet and keep the line moving fast, no matter how busy it gets. That said, the lack of restrooms is a huge drawback. Their website does say to 'plan ahead,' but as any parent of young kids knows, that's easier said than done! We've actually had two bathroom accidents at RC now, which really makes us second-guess visiting. Since it's such a popular seasonal spot, I wouldn't think it'd be too hard to at least provide a porta-potty. It would make a world of difference for families in a pinch.

American Legion
5646 Corporate Ave, CypressThe Food: Well, it's an American Legion Post, so in this instance the food is whatever you either bring with you, or by chance is being grilled up by whomever. ;) The Service: These are some of the finest, most giving folk that you will find. They sponsor most every Cub and Scout group in the area, helping us all however they can (from donations, to facility use, to letting us booth at their internal events), they are always helping out in the community - from helping at events to helping other in need, they just quietly make positive differences in our community. The Ambiance: If you are a veteran in the Cypress area and haven't visited your local Legion Post than I implore you to do so. I promise you'll be in good company; between the good people and the good pours at the bar you'll be happy that you did. :)

5895 Katella Ave Ste. B, CypressWe arrived just before closing, and the staff was incredibly welcoming and accommodating. They allowed our entire family of six to dine in without rushing us at all, which we truly appreciated. The food exceeded our expectations—everything was absolutely delicious. We ordered vampiros, tacos, and tortas with asada, lengua, and tripa, and every bite was amazing. Highly recommend!

Cobian’s Restaurants
4959 Katella Ave # A, CypressThis is a family-owned and run business. You can tell almost from the moment that you walk in by the way the staff interacts and talks with each other as well as their customers. They have a variety of different food from Mexican dishes to American dishes which provides a little something probably for everyone in your group. They're machaca breakfast plate with beans and rice is a favorite. They also have several other breakfasts that my family likes to try as well. Definitely recommend trying this place for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. The atmosphere is welcoming, clean, and the food has a home-cooked field to it.

Chaba Thai
5111 Ball Rd, CypressI wanted a to-go (takeout) Thai food option. I decided to get the chicken pad thai; it was good! A tip I would recommend is that you should definitely squeeze a slice of lime on the pad thai, add the crushed peanuts, and add at least one soy sauce packet BEFORE mixing it well.
