When you first go there, you might see the inside of the shop looks messy, but Lora is very good at what she does, she is on time, reliable, and very good with the dogs and cats. She has groomed our dogs many times of the years and she has never disappointed us. I highly recommend.

Pet Care
Equine Sports Medicine
5550 W Cerritos Ave # C, CypressI have a small riding school and because I teach a lot of children my horses are older so they need veterinary care often. The first time I called Dr. Overly it was 11:15 pm and I was sobbing on the phone about my 33 year old pony. He was at the barn in 15 min, he examined her and told me that she didn't need to be euthanized, explained everything to me, medicated her and off he went. I had never met him and he billed me a couple weeks later. Now I had NEVER EVER had a vet come out so fast, be so gracious and most importantly BILLED ME! Every other vet I called that night said," sure I will come out but it will be $480 to just show up". Thank God that Dr.Overly was the one who actually showed up. Since that night I have used him anytime I needed a vet. He is so nice, fair, understanding, and I trust everything he tells me. There is no nonsense like other vets do with billing, etc.... In response to a review on here.... I have had one mistake on my bill, I called the office and it was fixed no questions asked. I have a very hard time believing his front desk staff is rude. Every single time I have called they are beyond nice. If you want a professional competent vet for your horse please call equine sports medicine...I have been completely satisfied and so has every other person that I know of!

Lincoln Animal Hospital
5391 Lincoln Ave, CypressI went to Lincoln Animal Hospital for the first time for some urgent care for my cat. It was a Saturday, and they were booked, but they saw us as a walk-in for urgent care. The girls at the front desk were super nice and checked me in right away. I was told I would have to wait, but the wait was only 10 minutes. Dr Lan was so nice and caring. He relieved my worries immediately. I thought maybe my cat needed an xray to check for an intestinal blockage, but he said he didn't think that was necessary. He sent us home with a mild laxative and she was fine when we tried the laxative for a couple days. This was the most wonderful experience I've ever had at a veterinary office and I look forward to taking my other two cats to this office for any future veterinary needs they may have. I give this office 10 stars ?

Acacia Animal Hospital
9455 Moody St, CypressThis is the best vet we’ve ever been to. Our dog, Tito, is an older lil’ rescue dude who’s had all sorts of things happen to him—from a torn ACL to getting attacked by random dogs in our complex. The people at Acacia have always been incredibly nice and helpful. I can’t thank them enough for their help and professionalism. I highly recommend them to anyone who loves his or her pet.

Pet-Friendly Restaurants
Sandwich House
9187 Valley View St, CypressOne of the best Bah Mi I have ever had! Came a few months ago and have been dying to come back. The taste and flavor is so good I think about it all the time. The service is amazing, too. The man who runs the store is very kind and gave us extra goodies like waffles, little bananas and free Jasmine ice tea. Absolute bang for your buck. Only downside is it is not a sit down restaurant.

The Modern Cellar
9969 Walker St, CypressI have been wanting to try this place since a friend mentioned it to me. I was charmed from the moment I walked in the door. It was open and cozy at the same time. The table set up is reminiscent of a Paris café and the housewares are on tables you wander through like an open-air market. The coffee menu is not extensive, but rather a curated selection of unique options you won’t find at Starbucks. I had a hard time choosing which delicious treat to try from the beauties in the case. I ended up with a ham and cheese Sammy that took me straight back to Denmark.I took time looking at all the wines and found some favorites and many that were new to me. They have weekly tastings and a wine club, so I will definitely be back to try those out! Amanda was really informative and did not get annoyed with all of my questions. The entire store was clean and neat. It really reminded me of shops I have visited in Coronado.I will be back!!!

Magic Mike's Pizza Express
6332 Lincoln Ave, CypressFirst time coming here on 2/16/24 and I've been living in the area for 23+ years. I was the only one there so I got my order pretty quick which is nice. If pizza didn't make me fat then I would come here more often. The large ham & pineapple pizza with cheesy garlic bread tasted great - a solid 7.7 or 7.8 pizza. The pineapple may have been a tad bit overripe and not the freshest but were still good. Breadsticks were on the greasy side but still a 8.2 for me. If you're tired of chain pizza places (dominos, pizza hut, blaze, etc.) I would recommend giving magic mike's pizza express a shot. Seems like a great local place.
