“The store in Garden Grove, Ca is no longer around. They have moved to Tennessee but can’t get Google to update that they moved. Online ordering is still available but don’t waste your time driving to the listed location. The number still works if you need to call for information and they were very helpful over the phone.”

“Tamara and the team at 662Boardshop set the gold standard in customer service, they are extremely friendly and very customer oriented. Orders are shipped quickly after being placed and arrive soon and carefully packaged. They have sales frequently and discount codes are available online for maximum savings at checkout on a wide variety of bodyboarding products, they always throw in little extras with every order like stickers and key chains which is totally cool of them. Orders are accurate and are double checked and signed off by a team member, if something isn't right simply write them an email or call and they will always make it right. I highly recommend this board shop as they are shop for body boarders and keep the memory of its founder Eddie Solomon alive, as they say legends never die! Check them out you'll be glad you did. “This is one of the best tennis shops. They have anything for your tennis needs. The prices are very good for anything in the store. Their restringing is very high quality aswell as their rackets. “Joey and the team are just stellar. First, this is the best tennis shop in Orange County bar non. End of story. They have all of the best rackets and here’s the easiest bit - they have better pricing than any online retailer you can find or even eBay. I’m blown away at the competitiveness of their pricing. Need a racket? Don’t go anywhere else.
Second, the service. Knowledgeable and friendly guys, who will help you get the right racket, right string, right tension for your game. Quick service. Again, amazing pricing. They have dozens of different stringing options. Just an all-around Pro Shop in every sense of the word. And the cherry on top is that they have a training facility in the back with private lessons and a ball machine for you to polish your game. Stellar shop. “This place is great, and the customer service is top-notch. I called after waiting a couple of weeks for a pair of gloves coming from Thailand. They informed me it would be a bit longer before the shipment was received and offered to exchange my gloves for something they had in store. They spent about 10 minutes sending me pictures and video of all the gloves they had in stock and sent me a new pair the same day, even offering to comp the difference.”
“I communicated with Leslie from Customer Service who assisted me with an exchange. I purchased a motorcycle jacket liner that was too big and I sent it back in exchange for a smaller size. The company's policy is to inspect the item to be exchanged before they send the new item. The exchange is facilitated through the USPS and it takes many days for packages to travel between California and Florida. I asked Leslie if there was a way to speed up the process because of an upcoming motorcycle trip, and she told me that I could purchase a new jacket liner and the exchanged liner's status would be reclassified as a return and they would forego the $10 return fee the company charges. Exchange items are free and a returned item includes a $10 fee. Although you can only contact the company through email correspondence, I found them responsive and willing to accommodate my needs. Thank you very much Leslie and Venture Heat.”

“I stumbled upon these guys when I wandered into a surf shop with my kids in Rhode Island, and I spotted a thick long-sleeved surf T shirt that reminded me of the kind I wore when I was a kid. It quickly became a staple of the summer wardrobe.
Fast-forward to Christmas: My nephew just moved to LA and requested clothing that reflected a more California lifestyle. I have no idea what Gen Z is wearing in LA, but I know of a great California surf shop that might do the trick. My nephew loved the gifts so much, he started them wearing minutes after opening his presents. So, it turns out great beach clothing can cross generations.
These guys clearly are detail oriented. They’re a throwback to a time when people cherished favorite articles of clothing and those shirts or shorts would last years.
True, styles change but the desire for something comfortable after a long day at the beach never does, at least for the people who truly love the beach.
I will caution, though, communication is one way with these guys. Two emails went unanswered in a week, and I gave up ever getting a response. Whatever. The clothing is too good to hold it against them, and what do you expect? They’re surfers. They’re probably at the beach.”

Just an incredible selection of all things fishing, fully stocked, helpful and friendly staff and great prices. Surprisingly, even after the recent price increases across the board on all major brands, Performance still has a lot of the other shops beat by 15-20%. Just a totally amazing place.”
“I recently have started on my journey to surf and as a mom brought my little guy on for the journey. Griffin has been a wealth of knowledge from surf lesson recommendations to starter options for my toddler.
The service is great and as someone who sees the quality of the garments and apparel in store is great. There are different options depending on whether you will be surfing, swimming or just taking a stroll by the beach.
I’m excited to learn more but wanted to give this local shop the a credit it deserves.”

“I first came into this shop in 2021 to get to know the ins and outs of kitesurfing, before even taking my first lesson. I walked into the shop, got referred to an excellent kitesurfing school nearby, and have fallen in love with the hobby ever since. Every time I took a lesson, I would stop by the shop beforehand to get to know the different brands of kites and boards. It was many months of stopping by the shop every now and then before I even made my first purchase. Throughout it all, the whole crew at no limit were very welcoming and taught me everything.
