Doheny Cafe is a lovely and wonderful space in an unassuming strip mall just off of PCH. It is decorated cute and is a casual, full-service place with beautiful views. The food is delicious, a treat, and high quality, with amazing sweets and top-notch waffles. The menu is large, featuring items like fish tacos and cauliflower bites. The staff is great, very friendly, and provides outstanding and attentive service. The whole place smells like sweet waffles. It seems to get busy, so there may be a wait. Seating is first come. Parking is free in the strip mall parking lot. The cafe is very wheelchair friendly and is also kid-friendly. Depending on the day, there is fun live music. It is an awesome place that will not break the bank and is highly recommended.
What a lovely space. It was great a Maison... and now the Cafe has taken up the torch of delicious food, great service, and a wonderful space.The food is a treat. The sweets are amazing.And all served with a smile by a great staff.Highly recommend ?

A friend and I went for a late lunch and both really enjoyed our dishes. The food came out perfect and the server was really nice/attentive.We can’t wait to go back to Doheny Cafe to try more items on the menu.

This is a full service place. The countertop is for pastry and to purchase items from their small shop (Baja blankets, sand towels, local flowers). Seating is first come. Food was good. The whole place smells like sweet waffles ? so just walking by will make you hungry.
