“Great place to get your hands on the latest books. For the readers, it's an amazing place to hang out and get lost in exploring all those interesting reads. The staff is very friendly and helpful too. Kids have a large collection of books and toys to explore, and the reading corner for them is fun where there are story times arranged. My kids have a great time coming in here.
Different genres, toys, collectibles, stationery, and more. There's also a Starbucks inside with really good baristas.
After shopping at Barnes and noble, the joint out has a lot of eating spots and the movie theaters too. A fun place to hang out. Definitely recommend!!”
“My go to record store. Huge selection, friendly staff, great used barn finds and good prices. They also have a great, honest, rating system for used records. They’ll also order you pretty much anything you can’t find. Great selection of local artists too. Highly recommend.”
“Always a very helpful & informed staff who are eager to help. Plus a great selection of all types of entertainment media - books, comics, games, CDs, vinyl, collectibles, & board games.”

“They have an eclectic collection of books, movies and music DVDs. Apparently, these are donations that didn't make it to the library shelves. Prices are very reasonable and the staff is friendly. I actually like this place better than the Pleasant Hill library which has tried to become too many things. If you are a nerdy bibliophile that likes older reading material, try this bookstore.”
“I am London based and wanted to gift a book to a friend in CA, without resorting to global online sellers. I found Reasonable Books and Rudy and Betty, the owners, were fantastic and delivered a friendly and faff-free service. I will definitely shop with them again.”
“This is a smaller Barnes and Noble but they still manage to have a decent selection. You most likely won't find books that aren't as mainstream or popular but they always have new releases and events. The staff is friendly, helpful, and the store is clean.”
“I absolutely love this place. I'm confused by the reviews saying the prices are high, and this is by far the cheapest used bookstore around. The selection may not be as extensive as some of the bigger stores, but I always manage to find something interesting when I'm there. The staff is incredibly sweet as well.”
“i see that a lot of the negative reviews mention the prices of the toys being too expensive and i just have to add my two cents. there’s a LE about 45 minutes from me, and their prices are pretty much the same as the one in san ramon. i don’t think the prices are too high at all, i think they’re extremely fair and also not always under the control of LE. for example, i go to LE purely for jellycats. jellycats are relatively expensive no matter where you buy them, but LE always has an amazing selection and the first time i ever went to the one in san ramon, i found a jellycat that has been retired for so long, and is very rare and hard to find, AND THEY WERE SELLING HIM FOR HIS RETAIL PRICE! that is amazing. just a different perspective”
“The best main line church. Church sponsors many programs for the homeless. Congregation leans towards the senior side but is open and welcoming. Several of Walnut Creek's founding families worship here.”
“This magical local book store hosted a meet and greet with Andy Griffiths last night. I decided to bring my boys to the event and I'm so glad that I did. They were thoroughly entertained and left inspired to read more. We left the bookstore and by the time we got into the car, they were asking me to bring them to the next children's event.”
