“I enjoyed a calligraphy class hosted here with a lovely instructor, Carissa. The pace of the class was perfect. Carissa took one-on-one time with each participant. Beyond a bevy of supplies and practice worksheets, we were offered speciality teas, flavored waters, cookies, and sweets. Of course, the best takeaway was the personal insight on techniques, tips, and preferred tools that cannot be picked up in books or video snippets.”

“This magical local book store hosted a meet and greet with Andy Griffiths last night. I decided to bring my boys to the event and I'm so glad that I did. They were thoroughly entertained and left inspired to read more. We left the bookstore and by the time we got into the car, they were asking me to bring them to the next children's event.”
“i see that a lot of the negative reviews mention the prices of the toys being too expensive and i just have to add my two cents. there’s a LE about 45 minutes from me, and their prices are pretty much the same as the one in san ramon. i don’t think the prices are too high at all, i think they’re extremely fair and also not always under the control of LE. for example, i go to LE purely for jellycats. jellycats are relatively expensive no matter where you buy them, but LE always has an amazing selection and the first time i ever went to the one in san ramon, i found a jellycat that has been retired for so long, and is very rare and hard to find, AND THEY WERE SELLING HIM FOR HIS RETAIL PRICE! that is amazing. just a different perspective”

“My all time favorite book store it is so important that this store is still alive and running in 2026 such a beautiful thing that people actually still read. I love the story because it is so comfy clean and just makes me feel right at home. Staff is always wonderful and helpful. I even love shopping online because they have great sales. I enjoy book signings I enjoy sitting having a cup of coffee, sometimes even a pastry….”
