Over the past three and a half years, I've experienced outstanding hospitality from the entire staff, including administrative and maintenance personnel, who have a welcoming atmosphere and usually addressing residents by their first names. The recent pizza and pool party, featuring generous prize giveaways, exemplified their commitment to resident satisfaction. Management, Danielle, Arianna, and Azeneth, are all awesome! Plus they are actively seeking our feedback on potential enhancements, events, and incentives. To stay updated on community activities, I recommend following their Instagram account!”

“Gorgeous and comfy is what comes to mind when touring the apartment complex @ Chaparral. To be fair their interior designer did a REALLY AMAZING job furnishing their model unit. I was most impressed with the different pastel colors that really complemented the vibes that the duplex offers. I definitely recommend this apartment as it's been a significant upgrade compared to the 4 other places I've been situated at during my undergraduate studies. Very affordable pricing too!”

“I lived here as an undergrad and when I started graduate school, without thinking I chose to live at Russell Park again. The unit I stayed in was recently renovated, plus close proximity to the campus, everything was just great. Super nice and helpful office staff and maintenance team, who always promptly responded to my requests. Special thanks to Natalie - her consideration and accommodation made my living experience at Russell park a very special one that I will never forget. “Excellent place to live, extremely prompt with all communications and understanding if any issues arise with the housing. Over the years here any regular maintenance issue I've had was resolved within the day, after hours maintenance was also extremely prompt and helpful, and all done professionally. All staff are friendly, grounds are kept clean, concerns are promptly addressed and the amenities (gyms and study rooms) are always clean and well kept! Rooms themselves are spacious and the property maintains them well.”

“Casitas is a great place to live all in all--maintenance was always quick, the leasing office was always kind and helpful, and the area is great. The units are kind of rundown, but it's nothing terrible. However, that being said, I wouldn't recommend living here less than one year, as they may take a lot out of your security deposit because the lease states that they can. We cleaned our unit well and trust me when I say there was no need for more paint on the walls, but we still got charged for cleaning and painting. So, in the end, a good place to live if you're looking for somewhere longer than a year.”

“The Arbors is something special. I honestly can't say enough great things about our time living there. First and foremost, it's a beautiful and clean tree-filled property conveniently located close to downtown and the UC Davis campus. If you check out @thearborsdavis on IG, you will get a sense of why this complex is top tier - pool/spa, fitness center, covered BBQ area, pet friendly, onsite laundry, outdoor gathering spaces - but what truly sets The Arbors apart is the care, friendliness, and community-driven spirit of the incredible staff. Karen, the apartment complex manager, is a gem who goes above and beyond to deliver informed, consistent, and thoughtful service to the tenants. Oracio, Manuel, and Irvin work hard and do a fantastic job maintaining the property as well as any issues that arise in your unit, and always with a friendly smile. And other office staff, like Sara, help keep things smooth in Karen's absence. If you're looking for a safe, well-maintained, and well run apartment complex, look no further because The Arbors is it!”

“This place should definitely be rated HIGHER. I lived there for 3 years and I am so grateful for all of the Arlington Team, including Chase. He was always very kind and the rest of the team were always very supportive and easy to talk to. Special shout out to the maintenance team including Junior who always did things with such attention to detail and a good attitude. I highly recommend Arlington!”

“Hands down my favorite living experience in Davis. At the corner of Russell and La Rue, it's very convenient to get to Trader Joe's, SaveMart, and Safeway. It's walking distance from every part of campus, and a short drive or bike ride from downtown. Even more important, the apartments and spacious and comfortable, and the management and maintenance are out of this world. Any question or problem you have is handled extremely quickly, usually the same day. The rent is among the cheapest you'll find in Davis, and for what you're getting is a phenomenal deal.”

“Pros:
- Great management
- Very fast at responding to maintenance requests (and management always checks in to make sure that your maintenance request was fully addressed)
- Free gigabit Xfinity internet included
- Mostly has individual lease options so you don't have to worry about splitting rent amongst your roommates or a roommate not paying their share of the rent
- Has a bus line right outside the apartment
- No extra/hidden fees (you only get charged the monthly rent and your proportional share of the utilities, parking is included and renters insurance is not required)
- Management doesn't do shady stuff with your deposit unlike many other apartment complexes

Cons:
- Apartments are outdated
- When I moved in, my bedroom had many large cracks in the drywall with some chunks of drywall that fell on the ground (seems to be an isolated issue but I'm not sure how they didn't notice this)
- Apartments seem to trap in heat really well especially bedrooms (good for the winter but bad when the weather is warm)
- No in-unit washer and dryer”

“Fantastic location, within a 10 minutes walk of Campus, Trader Joe's and multiple parks. Central location allows you to access all of Davis easily on a bike or Unitrans. Patios on lower level units are spacious, with some also allowing direct street access to Sycamore Ln. Management is responsive.”

Woody and Tom are amazing! The maintenance team here at Sequoia Apartments is as reliable as a giant sequoia tree. They are always kind and helpful—Woody even replaced my burner drip plates yesterday with such a friendly attitude.

The apartments are a bit older, but for students in Davis, they truly offer the best balance of cost and facilities. The study room is also fantastic. Highly recommend Sequoia Apartments!

“Lived here for 7 years and I never wanted to leave.Management is super nice from the start and all through out. Never had a problem with any repair and theyre very quick to respond. Location is very quiet and convenient. Will definitely recommend.”

“I absolutely love my apartment and community! The amenities here are amazing. I frequently use the gym and the study lounge, both of which are incredibly convenient. The study lounge even provides free coffee and color printing services—such a thoughtful touch!

What makes this community even better are the various events organized throughout the year. They not only allow me to experience American holidays but also give me the opportunity to connect with other residents. During midterms and finals, the management provides special treats and meals, which truly warms my heart.

Oh! The weekly Friday cookies are an absolute must-mention! They’re my little sweet indulgence, the perfect treat to wrap up my week.

But what I love most about this community is the incredibly friendly management team. They always greet me with warmth and kindness, making this place feel like a home full of genuine warmth and care.”

“Stephanie and Richard are awesome and very helpful. They made my transition easy and smooth. The maintenance team took the initiative to offer help when they saw me struggling with my belongings. The place is clean, cute, and quiet, with easy access to the amenities. I got the studio apartment, which is very spacious and has plenty of cabinets for a clutter-free living. I'm in my first week here, and I will update this review after a few months.”

“I have been a resident here for a little over 3 years. All in all, no real complaints about my time living here. The on-site manager Diana is fantastic and is always a great help regarding any concerns. And the maintenance man is also very prompt and always does a solid job fixing/replacing anything for us. Noise/sound is fairly manageable with the occasional bump or running footsteps coming from above but nothing that will affect one's sleep/focus.

Highlights of the place:
- Parking is pretty generous with its own dedicated parking lot as well as a good amount of street parking. Reserved parking is also an option but not really necessary in my opinion.

- Location is as central to Davis as it's going to get. 10 minutes or less in any direction to get anywhere by car and has several bus lines running right outside the complex”

“One of the best apartment complexes I've ever lived in. Management is spectacular, maintenance is quick to fix any issues so long as they're made aware of them. Chris is especially one of the best in the business and has made the last few years such a smooth and enjoyable experience. His helpfulness (along with the rest of the staff) is the biggest reason I renewed for another year. This place is worth your time and they will help you out! If you have any prior apartment experience you'll definitely appreciate living here!”

“Quiet, clean, respectful area. No issues with management or maintenance. My apartment related questions were always answered by staff. Received my full deposit back after cleaning and leaving the place! Will remember Aspen Village fondly. (One minor critique was that the toilets were a bit old, but they were replacing them as I left, so shouldn't be an issue).”

“It’s been so nice living here during the school year! the staff hosts a variety of events and giveaways during the school year as a way to get free food and meet other college students staying in the area. It’s also conveniently placed near Safeway and a variety of restaurants, and there are active bus lines that go to both the MU and the Silo often. Definitely a good choice for the location and events”

“I just moved into Pinecrest Apartments and my experience has been great. Monica in the leasing office is super helpful and works very hard. Upon move in, everything was clean. I had to put in a couple of maintenance orders but maintenance is responsive and has already fixed some issues that have come up. I purposely got a unit farthest from the train tracks so I barely hear it at all! The grounds are well kept. So far, so good! Thanks, Pinecrest :)”

“It is quick to get help if you have a maintenance issue. Put in a maintenence request overnight, the next day the guy came and fixed my garbage disposable problem and everything works great now.”
