“A Hidden Gem of a Bookstore – and the Best Bookseller Ever!

This bookstore is everything a reader dreams of: cozy, welcoming, and full of character (and characters, haha pun intended). I stopped in just to browse and left with a stack of books I didn’t even know I needed—thanks to the incredible bookseller (I wish I could remember her name! I want to say Jocelyn) with long dark curly hair and the most joyful energy I’ve ever encountered.
She clearly passionate about books and took the time to ask what I liked, then lit up recommending titles I’d never heard of but instantly added to my TBR. Her excitement was contagious, and it felt less like shopping and more like being invited into someone’s personal library. Every book they suggested felt like a perfect fit—like she could see into my reading soul.

Seriously, if you’re looking for a place where the love of reading is alive and buzzing, this is it. I can’t wait to come back, both for the next batch of books and hopefully to thank that amazing bookseller in person.

“What a nostalgic place. The UCD bookstore makes their brand proud. Apparel, souvenirs and of course textbooks. The cow shop and egg heads are new additions to the overwhelming products available.”

“For years they operated out of suite F as their main store, along with suite A which was most recently the furniture store. This caused trouble on Yelp and other platforms, because there was no way for us customers to share the hours. At least for now, the furniture store is closed. They are operating out of suite F and the metal building between F and Davis Glass.”
