“I have been buying tools from JB Tools since 2019-ish. They have competitive pricing. I primarily buy automotive tools and some general hand tools. The clearance section is something that I monitor on a regular basis,40-60% is a great thing. Usually get tools within 10 days business days. I am actually about to place an order. They added some new new things I would like to buy.”

“Generally, a great locally owned hardware store that I’ve supported for years. But a suggestion for management: last night I had to buy a screwdriver just before closing. When I was walking down the aisle just after 8pm, an employee hollered, “Hey buddy we’re closed.”
I get his point and am sympathetic to young people wanting to get home after a day of work.
However, it would’ve been better had the employee said “Sir, we’re closing now: can I help you find something?”
This is vitally important at a time when more and more retail is going to online stores. I want to continue supporting local business, but I do think local business needs to be more aware of how important it is to continue to support and court their walk-in customers.”
