“I’m so thankful that I found Fancy Stop before attending my first Indian wedding! I went in hoping for guidance and left with two beautiful outfits, along with jewelry. The alterations were done in the store and I was able to pick up the next day. I cannot recommend this store enough. It has both an incredibly wide selection of clothing and also very kind employees.”

“Great mens shop connected to a cute woman's boutique. We make the most of these 2 related stores every time we are in Solana Beach. The styles are are on trend and they also have classics. Check out their great selection of mens jeans. HIS Mens Store gets styles in not found in large retail shops. My husband loves everything I get for him here. The staff is amazing and are very helpful but not pushy. Check them out!!”

“An old review of this location that said the staff is unhelpful is the absolute opposite from my experience today. They are so helpful and kind. However, I must admit I felt smothered. I will not be going back to Athleta in person because 1. I felt pressured to buy, and 2. four women came up to me within 5 minutes asking if I needed help. I still give 4 stars because they are so attentive and knowledgeable. However, I am an introvert and was very overwhelmed by the constant questioning from all employees. I did not have time to think about what I wanted. I also imagine that due to location they are trying to prevent theft loss. I respect the job they have to do is difficult. I would simply suggest they assign one employee to each customer because I was in a whirlwind of too much confrontation! I personally feel that asking a person more than once every 5 minutes if they need something is overkill.”

“You can't put a price on memories and Magical Child is still a must-stop for our family despite the fact none of us are children anymore! After 30 years, I love how I can still count on the thoughtful curation of eco-friendly products and organic textiles in a local boutique (I am a tactile shopper).
Besides, where else in an era of surcharges for bags, gift-wrapping, no cash accepted, and detached electronic check-out kiosks can you find concierge personal shoppers to help with that special gift for the little person in your life?
Their flexibility in store policy for new moms was much appreciated when a friend needed to exchange a new-born outfit that didn't fit anymore. So happy they have stayed magical!!”
“I was very impressed with the selection and especially the staff when we visited on the evening of 6-18-23. We live in another state and I wanted a hat I saw online that was sold out. The staff was able to find me the last one in the store. They even went in the back to see if there was another one in a little better condition, without me even asking. They asked about our visit and were very engaged offering wonderful service. Definitely an asset to the company.”

“I came here to get some hemming and alterations done on existing Lululemon shirts. I’m happy with the outcome because it was free. However, if there’s a piece you cherish I would go somewhere that does cleaner work.
The staff was super helpful getting me pinned for the adjustments. This shop is small so there was a 15min wait for the fitting room. They were clear that they can only cover straight hems in their policy. I asked if they could save the bottom hem with the motivational text and the finger holes like some other shops can do, and they said they would if they could.
Unfortunately, the finger holes and none of the Lululemon specific text or size dot and size information was left on the shirts. Also for the long sleeve they had to hem it a bit shorter than I would have liked because of they fully removed the finger holes. The hems aren’t totally straight but I know this material type is difficult. Last nit pick is the line work doesn’t have the best attention to detail and isn’t matched to the seams in all places.
Turn around was quick, a couple days. Seemed like they were doing a ton of alterations at this location. Greatful to have this option for free hemming at Lululemon.”
“This is the only Gap in San Diego that's still open but I guess there's going to be a UTC location opening soon that was being remodeled. Everything here was sparkling clean and perfectly organized. Everyone that worked there were extremely helpful and friendly. Sometimes when you go into retail you can tell people hate being there working, but not these employees! They truly made you feel like it was their pleasure to help and everyone was super friendly.”

“JJ is as good as it gets for kids clothing...so long as you like their style. I usually shop online since the prices are a bit cheaper, but every once in while I go in person to the UTC location. Always wait for sales and size up to get your monies worth. The target clothing (Cat and Jack) is only a little bit cheaper and the stuff doesn't last half as long before fading. My 9 YO daughter can wear JJ clothing for over a year with no tearing, rips or fading. No other clothing line will last that long!”
“Zara has a reputation for bad customer service but my experience as a long time shopper has been great with their staff. I was at this store and the young man i asked for help, went above and beyond to find what i was describing.
My biggest issue with Zara is the styles and sometimes quality of their men's clothes, i can look at their entire collection and maybe find one thing that I'd wear. I don't like the direction they've gone with a lot of their men's styles. Quality is lacking as well. Too many synthetic fabrics, decline in their suits quality, most of the clothes now are ugly overpriced low quality crap that i would never wear. I once loved their clothes but they've gone down.
Overall, the stores all look beautiful and they do great merchandising, its the actual garments that look ill fitting, streetwear, and has no cohesion. Hard to mix and match because they make too many styles.”

“I visited on 6/6 after passing by and seeing an outfit in the window I knew I needed for my son. Upon entering I was greeted right away and when I asked for help locating the item they caught my eye an associate stopped what she was doing and helped me and suggested another similar outfit that I also loved! The associate was so kind and I loved talking with her as I checked out. Sweetpea is definitely expensive but I would like to get my son more clothing from here since the quality is superb and the clothing is so unique!”
