The Hilton San Diego/Del Mar is a beautiful and expansive hotel with a unique charm and coastal chic ambiance, featuring decor that pays tribute to local racetrack culture. Its location is perfect and convenient, close to the Del Mar racetrack and fairgrounds, with lots of nearby restaurants and the beach about a mile away. The property offers a beautiful, peaceful pool area and hot tub, along with a nice heated pool and beautiful lobby. Guests frequently praise the superb and amazing staff, who provide warm greetings, impressive service, and 5-star quality customer service, often going above and beyond. The hotel is also pet-friendly. Rooms are generally described as very fresh, super clean, and in good condition with comfortable beds, clean hot showers, and large TVs. However, some rooms can feel very warm and seem a bit dated, with very tiny fridges. Some guests note additional charges for parking, a pet fee, and a breakfast buffet, which some find disappointing. While the breakfast buffet is delicious with lots of options, others feel it does not look impressive. The overall experience is often great and affordable, making many guests feel loved and eager to return, though isolated incidents with noise or crowds can occasionally impact a stay.
A fantastic lace to stay. The pool and hot tub all enclosed, not outing the parking lot how some hotels have it. There is a great bar with friendly bartender, a beautiful breakfast area with excellent service as a real restaurant...and the lobby is beautifully decorated. It has a resort feel. Love this place. Seriously sweet suites! Was upgraded to the Presidential Suite but opted instead for one of the updated rooms - the are beautiful. If they have them available I’d opt for them they are a major improvement from the older inventory. This one is 1st floor poolside with a private balcony. Check out the photos enjoy!

Great hotel overall just don’t understand why they charge $35 for parking a night when your a guest at the hotel already.
