“Really nice thrift store with lovely and friendly employees. Found a Bob Mackie wearable art vest for $30- great condition and clean and no dangling threads. Their boutique is quite well stocked. They don’t sell items with holes or too much wear. They had a black J Crew cashmere sweater for $20 but the vest was in better condition.”
“A small quaint thrift store, clean and organized but not orderly, a little bit of everything for everyone, know what you're shopping for and your trip will be productive, lots of China sets, furniture and women's clothing, not much for kids or men, but hidden gems can still be found, friendly staff makes this a worthwhile stop.”
“G'mach aka "The Jewish Gift Closet" is such a wonderful place.. The volunteers are so helpful in helping you with what you need and both Myrice and Helene are such beautiful persons! they care about you as if they've known you your their whole life and make sure you are felt welcomed and never turn you away for anything.. I've been able to find clothing for my growing daughter and the best part is I can always bring back what didn't fit and it's been a great place to also bring my donation items.. they take anything from Men/Women clothing, shoes, accessories Baby/Kids clothes, toys, crib, maternity Books, new toiletries, houseware and more!! It's great to have a place like this to help the Jewish community”
“Orphaned Objects is my go-to store for fine art at a reasonable price. I stopped by this morning and picked up three excellent pieces. I used to pay thousands of dollars at galleries. Now I look for the real bargains at Orphaned Objects.”
“NEW LOCATION: 936 Genevieve just up the hill on Academy and around the bend, in the gravel parking lot above ST Leo's MissionWe have such amazing clothes, kitchen items many decorative pieces. Fun thrift shop check them out!!”
“We've been going here sporadically over a decade. They have really good options for thrifting, for all ages and sizes. The operating hours vary but it's definitely worth looking into.”
“Beautiful shop, but too pricey for me. Used puzzles at $5.00. No guarantee they are complete. I'd rather buy new with a guarantee at that price. They did have great puzzles. They are obviously not flying off the shelves at that price point.”
“Small but very well maintained. Really great prices on some very nice items. It can be a great idea to come here to hunt for some mire upscale and luxury items at bargain prices since it’s in a very nice area. I found street parking around the corner. I’ll define e returning.”
“Such wonderful prices, and such a classy store!!! The staff were extremely helpful and pleasant....my new best friends and shop! If I lived here. Boohoo. Thank you!!! ?❤”
“Thrifty Threads has a lot of high quality items for fair prices. I love regularly visiting this location just to see the surprisingly eclectic selection for such a small location. Some things I enjoy about this location:-They have a wide selection, they especially have a lot of flannels and Hawaiian shirts-For being such a small location, they really do have a bit of everything. I've even seen some nice jackets, pants, shoes, and hats-The store is well organizedSome of the problems I've faced at this location:-In terms of their T-shirts/graphic tees I'm pretty sure a good portion of them are whole sale-The prices make sense for Encinitas, but I've seen some flannels, Hawaiian shirts, and jackets in there that at Goodwill or Salvation Army will cost you half what they chargeOverall 4.5/5”
“I shop this place so often the clothes are so gently used she would think they were brand new I would strongly encourage anyone to shop here you will be happily surprised with what you're going to spend on clothes furniture”

8145 Mira Mesa Blvd #2A, San Diego“Clean, well organized Goodwill with a nice layout. The items here are in better condition than I normally see in a Goodwill. There's also a decent selection of movies and video games, too. If I didn't know any better, I'd think this was a Marshall's rather than a Goodwill!”
“This is a small thrift store in the heart of Del Mar with volunteers who are friendly and customer-focused. It's well organized. Selections are limited, but I always seem to find something when I visit. Yesterday, it was a festive martini glass for $2 to replace one that broke a few years ago that was part of a set. Parking is in the Church lot, so make sure to get a 1-hour permit from one of the volunteers. There's a 20% discount on Tuesdays for Seniors 55+ and Military.”
