The Lautner Compound is a beautiful and relaxing place with nice people, serving as both a vacation rental and a wedding venue. It is the most beautiful vacation accommodation, offering a unique experience with exceptional, exceptional units. The grounds are well-maintained and ideal, featuring stunning desert views. The property is known for its interesting floor plans and restrained, tasteful, yet modern-age decor that highlights the beauty and character of the place. It is a true example of mid-century modern architecture, with the new owners completing an amazing, extraordinary job of renovation true to the original build. The interior design is wonderful, with each piece of furniture and object being of high quality. The rooms are so much more beautiful than photos can convey. As a wedding venue, it is perfect, magical, and ideal, creating a love-filled weekend. It can host micro-weddings or events for up to 300 people, with both an upper area and a lower level for ceremonies. Dancing under the desert stars is noted as unbeatable. The nearby event center is also quite nice. The owner is kind, very responsive, awesome to work with, and routinely makes design updates. There is a helpful preferred vendor list. A consideration is that the venue is closed in summer due to extreme heat, and outdoor lighting needs planning. The only mentioned downside is the potential for sheer wind during events. It is highly recommended as a Modernist Week win and worth the investment for a beautiful celebration.

Interesting floor plans, restrained and tasteful, yet modern-age decor. I would love to spend a weekend sometime! The nearby event center is also quite nice. All together, a relaxing place and nice people. A Modernist Week win for us!

Came here for a wedding, the only downside to this venue was just the sheer wind that kept coming the entire evening. It’s not the venues fault or anything bc everything about it was amazing. Great staff and beautiful place.
