“Had to stop in after an issue with the car, we had 10 plus people in our party. This place had rooms available, within 10 minutes, and the rooms were great! Big, nice air conditioning comfy beds. And we even got an extra hour the next day. It's right in between every gas station and restaurant too. I'll never stay in Sacramento again, I'd rather stay here”

“Stayed here to ride out winter weather. Room was priced lower, staff was excellent. The room was very nice and the breakfast was better than many other places. Small retail area is within easy walking distance. We would certainly stay here again.”

“Our family had a great stay at Dutch Flat Hotel.
We booked a room on Hotels.com, but probably should have booked directly through the hotel’s website to make communication a little more straightforward.
When we checked in after hours (9pm after seeing the not too far away Central Pacific Railroad sights at Donner Summit), it was sort of like an air bnb situation, where we got a code to let ourselves in to the hotel and our room and then we had a super comfortable and well appointed stay.
In the morning, we met one of the owners, Lief, who was incredibly kind, friendly, and welcoming. We’ll definitely tell our friends and family to stay here and we hope to come back and stay longer next time.”
