“The manager was very patient while helping me. I went to this hardware store with a unique plumbing challenge. Needed hardware and water supply tubing for a commercial ice maker. The existing fittings were male compression. Super patient, excellent customer service, and went way beyond reasonable expectations helping me find what I needed.”

“PV Hardware is the general store for Portola Valley. It has a bit of everything and is a reliable place for your hardware needs. The staff is friendly and the prices are good, especially for this town. It’s just a bit small and the selection can be a bit limited.”
“I'm just a handy guy who fixes his own stuff and they've helped me out of a jam on a few occasions. They will absolutely help DIYers get parts...IF you do some research before you go there and act like you belong there. That means knowing the model number of whatever you're trying to repair and ideally the mfr part number. If you're looking for a capacitor for your AC, give them the capacitor's spec (and buy a spare!).”

Great for random job-site needs, small tools, and those “I need it today” items. Easy stop, solid service, and it saves me time.”
“I usually go here just to get the Dust Remover since it’s the only location I can think of.
I heard that they sell cheap tools, but it’s a small place to go though. You can find at least some tools you need for repairs. People probably come here because they prefer getting cheaper tools compared to the ones from other stores. At least you’re not in a big building constantly looking for supplies that you can’t find.”

He also set me up with an awesome plumber Pedro D. to do the warranty replacement install. It all went very smoothly. “Park your truck outside the facility and the check-in has a big sign “Will Call”. Nice employees and very fast loading/unloading. They can take your load even before the appointment date and time but make sure to call them beforehand.
To dock, you need to reverse all the way in the company and then dock.”
