He got back to me with a precise quote and availability within just a couple hours. I booked an appointment for the next day.Brendan showed up at my home right on time, explained to me what he's going to do, and got the job done in under a few hours. He did such a fantastic job. I haven't seen my car looking this good, ever! I had some pretty deep stains in a couple seats and Brendan was able to get most of it out - even better than I had hoped. “I had a wonderful experience with Fix Auto in El Cajon. They provided excellent hospitality and immediately offered me water and coffee when I arrived. The staff was incredibly kind and even offered to call Enterprise for me, which I really appreciated. They also had a great sense of humor, making the entire experience enjoyable. “I would like to write up and share my personal experience working directly with Bob at Coachwerx for over 10 years. I've taken 3 of my vehicles to him over the years and received nothing but quality work, excellent communication, and amazing service every single time.

In 2015 I took my black 2009 F150 to Bob for some dents in the door. This is when his shop was over in Lakeside/el cajon and he worked directly with my State Farm insurance, repaired it quickly and it looked brand new. He even fixed a few small dents in the rear fender that I didn't ask him to.

More recently, last year (2025) I took my 5th wheel trailer to Bob, as the stickers on the front cap had been disintegrating and wouldn't come off, and they had ruined the paint. I asked him to remove the stickers and then repaint the front cap the original white color. His team did an excellent job, finishing the work quickly and it looked better than it did when brand new.

Finally, I just recently (Jan 2026) took my 2016 F250 to Bob as I had accidentally backed into the hitch on my 5th wheel and put a dent in the tailgate. I brought it over for his team to look at, and they took the tailgate off and kept it to repair so I could keep my truck in the meantime. Within a week they had repaired it and asked me to come by so they could reinstall it and adjust everything. His team went above and beyond the already perfect repair to the metal and paint, and reassembled the handle, did some extra work to help me out with a tailgate soft close shock I had installed that had broken, and helped sort out some issues with my backup camera.

In my experience working with Bob and Coachwerx for both vehicle and RV repair, as well as paying out of pocket and going through insurance, I have had nothing but great experiences and received excellent service. I would personally recommend this shop, and I'm happy to be a referral for anyone who is considering it.”

“Staff was really helpful and knowledgeable! I went in not knowing exactly what all I would need, but they set me straight. All the information I could ever need for painting over the damage on my bumper was explained to me, and directions were provided on some packets. So I went from not knowing anything, to feeling pretty confident about fixing the damage. The pricing was also pretty reasonable as well. Would definitely recommend this place if you're looking to do some DIY paint repair.”

“Got a smog check and was treated kind and it was done quick. I wanted the free car wash and I told my smog tech that and had put it through the car wash after he was done so all I had to do is go in and and wait for my car to be done washing. I do have to say I’m a little disappointed that after I drove away it was squiring water all over front windshield from hood and left water streaks and dots on my fresh clean car ?”
