“I initially booked a rental through Costco and they recommended Avis On Fletcher Parkway for the seven passenger SUV. When I go to Avis, they were closed for the pick up, which was at 5 PM, the people inside there were extremely rude so I ended up going to enterprise on Magnolia. I was greeted by Eric, which was amazing and the young lady that did the walk-through with me was also awesome. No matter what you do make sure you use enterprise on magnolia”

I went to pick up a hybrid car on 6/11 that I had reserved 6 weeks in advance of a trip. When I was dropped off by the Uber I paid $40 for at 12:25 for my 12:30 pickup appointment, no agent was in the office. However, there were three other customers waiting. I continued to wait for 15 minutes before an agent showed up. After waiting another 10 minutes for the agent to help the others in front of me, I finally got up to the counter. The agent informed me they did not have the vehicle I reserved available and offered an alternative option. Unfortunately the alternative option would not work for my case. I let him know to go ahead and cancel the reservation. He confirmed and I left. I proceeded to walk a mile to Enterprise and rented there instead. Now, the next day, the Hertz app is telling me that my reservation is still open but that it is too late for free cancelation and I will be charged a $43 cancellation fee. Um… no! DO NOT DO THAT. That adds insult to injury, Hertz. I then used the live agent chat function on the Hertz app. After waiting for 18 minutes for a live agent, I gave up. Hertz… if anyone at your company cares about customer service, please ensure that my reservation (confirmation number L5864158057) is fully cancelled and that my card is not charged. If it is charged, I will dispute through my credit card company.”
