“We came at 11pm after leaving a horribly filthy hotel and were just trying to find somewhere to stay on short notice. The clerk let us look at the to to confirm it was clean before we booked it. He was wonderful. The room was clean and comfortable and the service was great. Would come again.”
“I loved my visit to the hotel because of Liridona. she is the top reason I would stay here. she was working many hours and was very patient with me and kind. Its hard to find a kind and patient person that feels genuine. Marriot is lucky to have you. it seems she is there 24 hours and gives all her precious time to make sure guests are treated to the best standard. the hotel is an oasis in the middle of El cajon. it is a taste of luxury in the hot mess of the city. Liridona is the angel that makes El cajon a better place and the experience at Marriot heavenly.”
“Manager Alan and all staff here are the nicest and most professional. Would highly recommend staying here. Anytime I have any issue it is handled immediately and with great care for my comfort. Front desk, housekeeping and maintenance are all the best workers and so friendly.”

“I loved the rooftop bar with panoramic views of the city skyline. The cocktails were expertly made, and the atmosphere was vibrant. The hotel room was stylish and comfortable, with all modern amenities. The staff were very welcoming and helpful throughout my stay.”
“The rooms are remodeled and are pretty nice. All of the furniture is modern. The cable television is cox cable and it's plenty of channels for you to choose from. The location is pretty good. Plenty of stores and restaurants nearby walking distance. The maids at the motel do a good job cleaning the rooms. The motel is also pet friendly. Just make sure you pick up after your pet.”
“I slept comfortably, the room was clean and smelled nice. Ac was ice cold. Bed comfortable. Front desk helpful and accommodating. I have an off leash performing service animal that although the front desk lady was afraid of my dog, she respectfully said she was afraid and I appreciate that she didn't dictate how I have to handle my working dog. Most people tell me I need to leash my animal. They claim it's the law. My service animal is not a pet. She needs to be leashed OR under my vocal or signal command. I'm used to getting flack for all the fake service animals that are out there. For me that was the biggest comfort for me because I didn't have to explain the law and/or my needs and why at times she must be off leash for both of our safety. If there is something that could be improved, it's the parking arrangement. If you have a larger vehicle and you're leaving and the lot is full, you have to reverse onto the main road. But as I watched the trucks navigate their way out, I noticed the main road had clear view of traffic so not a deal killer. For the price you get alot. I noticed in my 3 day stay that there are some guests that are long term. They were all friendly and courteous. Overall I enjoyed my stay and I would recommend them if you are looking for a clean comfy place with fridge and microwave and they only require a $20 deposit.”
