“I've been shopping her infrequent over the past few decades and I love it. Total hit or miss and the inventory does seem lacking in recent times but overall I still take the 25 minute drive to get over there and shop through their offerings.
I especially like that this locale has several thrift stores in walking distance.”
“Quality Thrift is definitely more of an antique store rather than a thrift store. So if it’s really interesting antiques and vintage that you’re looking for, be sure to check out this store!”
“Not sure why ppl are complaining about prices. It's literally one of the cheapest thrift stores in the county. It's my first go-to because it's affordable. They always have discounts.
You can find gems, but it is a hunt.
On the other hand, it is very cluttered and definitely needs a hard clean.
The ppl working there are always friendly.”
“So this might not be the biggest Goodwill but staff is friendly and it's not overpriced (like the Goodwill in Santee for example.) I found a few things so it was a good thrift day!”
“I love shopping at Plato’s Closet El Cajon – every visit feels like a treasure hunt. The selection of gently used clothing is always fresh and surprisingly stylish, and the pre‑owned shoes are in great condition for the price. It’s a friendly thrift store where you can snag discount clothing without any hassle. If happiness had a location on Google Maps, it would be here.”

Thrift Stores
“I love this thrift store. The prices are some of the best of all the thrift stores around. A huge selection to choose from also. They offer discounts based on the colors of the week. The staff is very friendly. I'll be back soon.”
“After a couple times playing pickleball at Lindo Lake park in Lakeside, the good folks told me I could get free lessons at Red Shield, El Cajon. The place is new is clean! I remember it being built just a few years ago but didn't know it was a recreation center. Signing up was easy, and was promptly instructed to do practice drills. Within 15 minutes, I was playing doubles with other newbies. Then was told to go to the middle court to learn next level instructions. I learned a lot today from the three instructors and met friendly people too! Excited to keep advancing so I signed up for next Thursday's lesson.”
