“Everyone at Animal Care Clinic is so great! I have had to bring in my 8 year old Jack Russell about once a week for the past month, and every time, they are welcoming, explain everything thoroughly, and are very upfront about pricing. I was previously going to VCA hospitals and ACC is notably more affordable in comparison for medications, vaccines, imaging, etc. They always have appointments available and the doctors have been very kind, especially Dr. Console.”
“This review is for Dr.Damm and the entire crew at this vet clinic. I really appreciate the care and compassion they show for my doggie. I know Dr.Beckman is the star here but I must say Dr.Damm was/is an excellent addition to the clinic. Thanks for keeping my dog happy and healthy!!!”
“We want to thank everyone at Singing Hills who helped us at the front desk and a shout out especially to Maggie who groomed our Welsh Terrier, Teddy. He can be a rascal and she still managed to make him look very handsome. Thank-you so much!”
“The best vet clinic I have ever been to. In the four states I’ve lived in there has been no comparison to JVC. They are the absolute best in the business. The best vets, staff and service.”
“My cat came here today. It was my first visit. I definitely recommend this place. It’s one of the few private owned hospitals left. They have a separate urgent care on the weekends.”
“Buying a horse from 2.5 hours away is a scary process! But I lucked out when I called Dr. Garfinkel. She spent hours vetting my horse and then talked me through the process with patience, care, and objectivity. What a true professional and nice person! She also understood where I am in my Dressage journey and shares a love of the sport and horses as well. Really a great doctor!”
“Okay so who ever the person was that handed me my paperwork to fill out was possibly the best person ever. I had my son and dog with me, and was basically wrestling the two just to fill out paper work- not only did she clean up after my dog had a nervous p**** she offered to hold my son while the pup got her shots. Made the process a lot easier for me, it was great service.”
“LAVA..Dr Catt and Dr Martin both EXCEPTIONAL vets for your large animals. Unlike another well known group of vets for large animals who are out just FOR YOUR MONEY.. they put their bill before your animals well being...voice if experience here ?☹️....LAVA CARES ABOUT YOUR ANIMALS FIRST!!!! Why go with a second rate vet group when you can go with the BEST!!!! LAVA WILL ALWAYS HAVE YOUR BACK and CARE for your loved ? animals who deserve the care!!!”

“I recently brought my cat, James, to this veterinary hospital for a heart scan after he was diagnosed with a grade 3 heart murmur. At the very beginning, there was a small hiccup with scheduling — I was told I would receive a call back, and after a few days I hadn’t heard anything. I ended up reaching out via email, and once I did, everything completely turned around.
From that point on, the care and communication were exceptional. The team was extremely apologetic about the delay and truly went above and beyond to make sure I felt supported and informed every step of the way. They followed up before and after the appointment, answered all of my questions thoroughly, and made sure I felt comfortable throughout the entire process.
I especially want to give a huge shout-out to Justine, who took incredible care of me and James. She went above and beyond to ensure we had a positive experience and genuinely made up for that initial misstep. Her kindness, professionalism, and attention to detail made a stressful situation so much easier.
I’m very grateful for the care James received and truly appreciate how much effort the team put into making things right. Thank you for taking such great care of my boy.”
“Our fur babies love their Doctor & so do we. For many years we struggled to find a place that could treat all our pets. Doctor Holloway is the perfect veterinarian.”
“Great experience! I got a Vca coupon for a free first time exam! The blonde vet I forget her name but super smart!!! Got flea meds and an allergy shot. Was in and out fast too.”
“My cat Ava has been coming here the last 5 years. She was recently put down after a long battle of kidney disease. While I was unfortunately out of town my mother brought her in and the staff showed a lot of empathy and kindness. Thank you for the care you gave our cat 🐱”
“I always receive the best care when I go to Banfield of El Cajon. The team there is so kind and always want what’s best for my pets. Both of my dogs have gone there since they were about eight weeks old, but my white Pitbull had allergies since she was a baby so she has grown extremely close to the team and loves going to Banfield! That is a huge testament to how well they treat the pets here. I highly recommend, especially because of the Optimum wellness plans they have at Banfield. The team helps me save money by suggesting what plans to get to the best care for my dogs. We’ve experienced a range of services from fecal exams, urine analysis’, neuter/spay surgery, to dental cleanings and we have saved so much money going to Banfield!”

“I cannot thank the team at El Cajon Valley Veterinary Hospital enough for their incredible care and professionalism. They worked quickly and efficiently to save my dog, and their kindness and dedication truly stand out. In a moment of desperation, they provided not only exceptional medical attention but also much-needed reassurance. Their helpful and friendly attitude is evident every time I call, and I feel so lucky to have found such a reliable place for my dog's care. I highly recommend this place for anyone seeking top-notch veterinary services. Thank you for the best experience with my beloved pet!”
“Emergency care on a Sunday. Great staff really caring treatment. Pricey but better than most 24hr vet care facilities. Hope I don't have to use them again but good to know they are there.”
