“I had the opportunity to bring my 3.5 year old Golden Doodle (ESA) to Animal Fix Clinic to get him neutered, through the help of Joybound. It was a tremendous weight lifted off my shoulders because Beaux and I went through 3 months of homelessness that really tested our bond and determination. He is my constant companion and emotional support throughout that ordeal that I never thought would happen to me in my lifetime, and yet it did. I just want to commend, all the staff and volunteers at the Animal Fix Clinic for such great work they are doing in the community. I was so impressed in how organized and efficient they are not to mention how compassionate they are to me and my dog Beaux and I'm sure to every pets that they help in that clinic. I encourage everyone who can afford to give a little donation to this clinic and their cause so that they can help many more pet owners to have their beloved pets fixed. My deepest gratitude and appreciation to everyone at Animal Fix Clinic for a great experience and opportunity to take care of my dog Beaux. 🙏🙏🙏”

“Wonderful organization, and a wonderful place to visit!!! Cat Town is basically cat heaven, with so many structures for the cats to climb, cozy nooks for them to snooze in, and plenty of feline company to help the shy guys come out of their shells. I love visiting the cat cafe so much that I became a volunteer so I could go more often! The staff is very friendly and super knowledgeable. I also adopted my two cats from here and they are the loves of my life”

“Can't beat the atmosphere for a performance. Very talented actors and amazing shows. Easy in/out of parking lot. Be prepared for a bit of a walk, though, depending which lot you're in. Many evenings require jacket and blanket. Seats are not the most comfortable. Bathrooms at both the top (flush) and bottom (portables) of the venue. So beautiful here...watching performances under the stars every year with our group is a treat!”

“I wandered into this little boutique while my brother was getting his eyebrows threaded next door, and somehow walked out with one of my favorite memories. The moment I stepped inside, I felt the magic of the place. I'd never seen a shop like this with every piece feeling like it had a soul. I collect artistic cards, so of course I gravitated straight toward the displays and picked one out. Important detail: I hate carrying purses. So my cards and cash live chaotically in my pockets. Reckless? Yes. Will do ? Also yes. So when I go to pull out my debit card, my ID shot out like it had somewhere better to be and slipped perfectly under this massive bookcase. I knelt down to assess the situation--an inch-wide slot leading into a dark abyss. Purse: 1. Me: 0. I briefly told the employee what happened explaining why I was all of a sudden on all fours face to face with the ground, completely expecting maybe a shrug. But Instead, he immediately started removing items, trying to shift the entire bookcase, going above and beyond to retrieve my ID. But it was quickly apparent the it was mission impossible to which I fully accepted. But his pure kindness and concern really touched me and we just quickly started talking about the story behind the boutique. Amazing story, and I ended up buying a handmade cup after the fact. And I'd love to say their kindness inspired me to buy a cup, but let's be honest: I bought it because I felt guilty. (...Though I had been eyeing it before my ID made its dramatic escape so I really did want it). Now that cup sits on my bookcase, and every time I see it, I think of how what could've been a gloomy experience turned into one of my sweetest little memories. And yes, I know I'm making this sound more dramatic than it probably was. But 1) you'd remember this shop too if you stepped foot inside, and 2) I do have a history of unintentionally disturbing the peace in small shops, to which my guilt makes it mandatory to make a purchase, only for those "guilt purchases" to become some of my most treasured things.”

The volunteers who work there clearly care about making the space accessible to everyone regardless of experience. Don’t begrudge them for their limited hours — it’s just based on how many people volunteer.”

The services provided here range everything from Narcan training and free Narcan provided, medical Care on Thursday Afternoons and wound care, all of the possible harm reduction supplies you might need as well as wound care supplies first aid some hygiene items such as disposable undies and feminine products group support and referral for treatment as well as testing of street drugs so the consumer can make a more informed decision on what is going into their bodies. Restrooms are available (restrooms were still being renovated so they might not be ready just yet) the only thing missing from this location is a safe consumption program. The staff and volunteers are some of the kindest people who have no judgement come as you are!”

“This used bookstore is right inside the ground level by the parking ramp. It is very clean, with wide aisles and does not feel cramped at all like some bookstores can get. Great variety of used books, broken down into various categories to make browsing easier. Most hardback seemed to be 2 to 3 dollars, but there are some 50 Cent specials and even ones that can get down to a quarter apiece. Right off Telegraph Avenue near campus so a great place to get a lot of books without spending much money plus supporting a great cause.”
