“I had the opportunity to bring my 3.5 year old Golden Doodle (ESA) to Animal Fix Clinic to get him neutered, through the help of Joybound. It was a tremendous weight lifted off my shoulders because Beaux and I went through 3 months of homelessness that really tested our bond and determination. He is my constant companion and emotional support throughout that ordeal that I never thought would happen to me in my lifetime, and yet it did. I just want to commend, all the staff and volunteers at the Animal Fix Clinic for such great work they are doing in the community. I was so impressed in how organized and efficient they are not to mention how compassionate they are to me and my dog Beaux and I'm sure to every pets that they help in that clinic. I encourage everyone who can afford to give a little donation to this clinic and their cause so that they can help many more pet owners to have their beloved pets fixed. My deepest gratitude and appreciation to everyone at Animal Fix Clinic for a great experience and opportunity to take care of my dog Beaux. 🙏🙏🙏”

“BHNS is such a special place, like a little tree house in the hill that feels like a second home more than a school, so it’s a great transition for young kids. There is so much warmth and care and the teachers – Betsy, Nisha and Kathleen - are so wonderful. They put so much attention and thought on each child. It’s a great place for little ones to develop social skills and grow at their own pace in a nurturing environment without stress or pressure. We feel so lucky to have found it.”

“This used bookstore is right inside the ground level by the parking ramp. It is very clean, with wide aisles and does not feel cramped at all like some bookstores can get. Great variety of used books, broken down into various categories to make browsing easier. Most hardback seemed to be 2 to 3 dollars, but there are some 50 Cent specials and even ones that can get down to a quarter apiece. Right off Telegraph Avenue near campus so a great place to get a lot of books without spending much money plus supporting a great cause.”

“The David Brower Center is an awesome venue! We hosted about 120 people for a celebration and used the Tamalpais Rooma nd Terrace on a Sunday morning. The spaces are flexible and Tim was a fabulously supportive point of contact as we thought about layout and had many other questions leading up to the event. Additionally, when we arrived on the day of our event, April made sure to check about the seating arrangements, helped us with a cart to get things up to the rooms, helped with a bandaid when somebody fell and just maintained such kindness and support. Ben was equally present and creative as we got ready for the event, which included streaming the event and having guests join by Zoom. Highly recommend the team and spaces at the David Brower Center!”

“I freaking love this place. It's awesomely large and a really, really nice building to have an art school. The classes are cool and eclectic, and I always find an interesting class. The only teacher I've had is Maggie when I took an art class with my baby. She's really talented, and patient. We always have fun when we go here! Occasionally, they have open house days like the spring fling, and Guillermo's birthday party. I recommend this place to everyone! Solid 5!!!”

“My daughter just started at Crowden as a 7th grader. She is a complete beginner in violin but the music faculty has been very understanding and appreciative of her aptitude to learn. So far, we are having only positive experiences. She is learning music at her level, and following the academic program of her grade. Everyone at school is extremely understanding, adults and the kids.The small class size makes it for a better learning environment for my daughter because she is usually very distracted at school. While the school still follows the common core program, they also have art and French classes. Overall, the breakdown of classes reminded me of a more European school, with shorter periods, which helps kids to focus and pay attention in each class.My daughter also enjoys the school and really looks forward to having her first concert.”

Was walking back to my car from the show and some of kid performers were pointing out that I was the one who wasn't singing along with the audience in the front row. Rude much? At least ask why. I went on a day I was on morning shift. That is, I wake up at 4:30am and do 8hr shifts. So excuse me for being too tired to sing along. Wasn't the only attitude problem from the production either. I'll buy more cds from voena, but probably going to pass on more shows.”
