βWent back again the other night! Had the melt off the bones lamb shank. They are huge and at the price of lamb shanks today, I doubt I could have bought them for much less and then still have to cook them for hours! Plus their teas! I asked what was served at the cafe (where you now have to order the warm foods) and not only did the fellow show me, he suggested dried rose petals and cardamom to increase the taste. Sure, I bought the tea and the rose petals, but he'd also gone back to search for the tea I wanted! such lovely helpful people!β
βFabulous independent, family-owned supermarket in Berkeley. It's huge, with a wider selection of organic and natural products than Whole Foods. It has a large produce section, lots of fresh & prepared foods, and some unique finds. They also offer a lot of local, vegan, gluten-free, and dairy-free items. I came in for a few things and filled a whole cart of things I wanted to try. 😆β

βSomeone told me about this place they have a variety of excellent meats. It's always fresh and comes in bundles if you choose. The prices are reasonable and they take (Cash, EBT,Debit) for your items to purchase. Soooo what are you ? waiting for? Come one, come all you won't be sorry for your selections you choose. I'm a believer yes, I am and satisfied every time I come to shop. It's a grocery store too sooo come and take a "PEEK"! Do have a blessed day ?? (Amen)!β

βThe perfect convenience store for when you're on Oak St towards Octavia to US-101 or I-80 and the Bay Bridge. You can easily stop for the necessities during your commute street parking is easy, and the staff are super friendly. For my commute it's a pint of Haagen-Dazs, a Gatorade and a bag of Kettle brand chips for the days when there is traffic.. Let's just say I eat a lot of ice cream. What's your favorite snack during a long commute?β
βStrive for the best!Not only their prices are cheaper than Foodmaxx,Safeway,Costco wtc;their fruits and vegetables are always cheaper than any other big corporate ideally meant to be sold for you and I low-moderate income people.Had I not have WIC cards,I would still go there for my grocery shopping and then once I dont find anything that I dint find here I would then go to other locations for groceries. Also, the staff are very friendly.β

This is not your typical neighborhood convenience store, itβs part mini-market, part deli, and packed with drinks, accessories, and just about anything you might suddenly need on the go. If youβre nearby or just passing through, this place is a must stop for cheap, delicious eats made fresh to order, sandwiches, fried chicken, milkshakes... You name it.
The candy and ice cream selection is impressive, with tons of variety for every craving. What really stands out, though, is the service: the staff is incredibly friendly and fast, even when the store is full. Great food, great prices, and great people, definitely worth checking out!β

βbest deli EVER!!! The sandwich I had yesterday on my first visit was one of the best pastrami sandwiches I've ever had ! so good. I went back today and tried their chicken bacon and avocado sandwich. Staff is Hella cool I got a great special order board. I mean just gourmet sandwiches at a really reasonable price I'm amazed. I'm gonna be a regular customer for sure and it feels like I'm having a healthier meal Blessings.β

Since I found out I asked if they could get more & they helped me & we looked on line together to make sure which item I was wanting & they ordered it! A week later it was here!! YaY! βSmall but this store is packed with every thing u could think of and more.. the owner just did a complete remodel of the store it's so nice inside... lighting and new artwork .. any bottle of liquor that you are looking for they have... nice big wine beer and mixed drinks .. section as well.. I had been looking for these can Paloma's .. (I had in Mexico) can here and they were here I was so excited.. they also keep bottles in the fridge which is very convenient...small store with lots of traffic.. they get you in and out.. parking isn't the best but it's worth stopping in .. owner is so nice and humble manβ
β- It's a great store where you can find almost anything, and the seller is an honest and respectable person. The only drawbacks are the dim lighting and the lack of price tags on the items, which means you have to ask the seller for prices frequently.β

βThe cutest store. I love to stop by on my walks to pop in and grab my favorite ice cream (their espresso flavor!) for me and a scoop of vanilla for my dog. It’s always a pleasure to see their guard dog Bella too 😊β
