“Great children’s bookstore and toy store. Great selections of books, sorted by subjects kids love. Big section of board books as well as big kid chapter books.”
“Hello, Toy Go Around!!
I was wondering if you want to take a look on some of my hot wheels cars, it hasn't been open and they are in good condition and I was wondering you can give me an offer and we can agree with it”
“Spent the entire day there last Saturday for a regional Catan tournament...Really nice facility, lots and lots of games, and most importantly a staff that was very kind and welcoming. Traveled in from Phoenix, so may not be there anytime soon, but definitely would recommend as a top gamers option! Thanks Games of Berkeley for such a fun experience!”
“100% recommend visiting if you are looking into car seats and strollers.
Daisy is an expert at car seats and was able to explain the characteristics of each one and the differences between them to a pair of first-time expectant parents that were still dizzy from looking at all the choices online. Daisy also had fabric swatches for color/material options and helped us do a test fitting of the floor model into our car before making our choice.
Mika helped us with strollers and definitely helped us avoid making a wrong pick. She started out by asking a set of questions to figure out what style of stroller worked best for our lifestyle (totally different to what we thought we wanted when walking in) and then had us test out strollers in their demo area until we found one that made sense to us.
Pro-tip: They will do private appointments outside of store hours so call beforehand if you'd like dedicated help. We walked in on a Saturday afternoon and they were able to help us while juggling other customers but your mileage may vary.”
“This is my go to spot for selling and buying used kids clothes. They also have women's clothes and I always find gems here. Great selection of kids toys and very sensibly priced. I use my store credit to buy all of the gifts for kid birthday parties throughout the year.”
“I pick up a new kit every time I walk in here! Always something new, his stock is always rotating. I don't think I've seen the same kit on his shelves twice. Everything from entry grade to perfect grade unleashed, and reasonable prices (especially with the additional 25% off). Not just Gunpla, but also kits from Evangelion, One Piece, DBZ, Star Wars, and others. Keep in mind, it is primarily a Gunpla store if you're looking for anything else. The staff also has given me great advice on my builds, as well!”
“This is the best vintage toy store I’ve visited so far. You can truly feel the twenty years the owner has spent collecting these toys. The space is filled with layers of time, and I absolutely love being here.”
“You HAVE to come here if you’re looking for gifts for little ones - we stopped in to buy a gift on the way to a 1 year olds party and found the perfect thing + a card. They even wrapped it up in gift wrapping free of charge. Small business like this make all the difference.”
“They had the toys that I was looking even though they were in high demand. Excellent service from the staff. The store hata huge selection of toys and other fun stuff for kids of all ages.”

“Ace hardware is my go to hardware store before Home Depot and Lowe's for certain items but for bigger jobs like sheet rock or lumber building materials I'll go to Home Depot but some of the bigger Ace Hardware stores carry everything I would need. I would recommend Ace hardware.”
“The proprietor is an absolute gem! We popped in impulsively and wound up with a great conversation, tons of fascinating toy + pop culture history trivia, AND a couple truly wonderful gifts for family. Thank you for the Star Wars action figures and Alfa Romeo collectible!”
“This little guy took a big trip home to Victoria, Australia, 35 years ago. We’ve loved him ever since and want another one the same for our little girl due in December. Thank you for a childhood full of happy memories.”

“This store is spectacular with so many wonderful, loving and ambience feelings shopping in here. I am an adult without children but I love the little one in me. Thank you so much for sparkles.”
“I’ve been shopping at Silver Moon Kids for 13 years now and all of them have been lucky! Dima and her staff run an amazing store stocked with new and gently used clothing, books, and toys. It’s the perfect place to buy for all things children.”
“Love this store! I got some great clothes for my pooh bear. The store is big. The workers are awesome! Thanks to Eziyah and cierra for helping me shop and helping me use my many giftcards. You guys are awesome workers! Give them a raise? ❤️ will definitely be back.”

“The Katachi, store is like being in Japan shopping; it really gives you that kind of feeling, the service by the two kind and professional guys who helped me; Hendson Hwang and Sean Campos, they were not only nice but very knowledgeable, so next time when you are in San Francisco go to Japan Town and stop by Katachi, the store is awesome.”
“Hands down the best customer service in the industry! My new coral poi and LED handles are the most amazing set of poi I've owned, so stoked with this purchase. Thanks Flowtoys for an amazing product and for the fast shipping.”

“The Exploratorium Store is the place to get all kinds of generic science-related gifts. Mainly stuff for kids, and some of their inventory you can likely find elsewhere online. A lot of the products are only vaguely related to the Exploratorium and what is displayed in it, there wasn't much Exploratorium branded merch or memorabilia outside of a few shirts and buttons. Would love to see more, honestly. The prices can be high, I remember seeing a pin that was not much bigger than a thumbtack going for $13, but it's an expensive museum so it makes sense that their gift shop is also expensive. Other than that, it's fine quality. My little brother really liked the knee-doh ball he got here. Overall, 4/5.”
“I bought 2 fabulous outfits for my grandson & granddaughter today. I thought the store had a nice selection of high-quality items, and found the staff was helpful without hovering, allowing us to wander. We will be back.”

“Wasn't sure what to make of this shop when I first moved into the neighborhood, but two years later I don't know what I'd do without it! They have a very well-curated selection of cards, way better than you'd find in a drug store or supermarket. They also have a constantly rotating collection of random giftable items that have helped me out in a pinch on several occasions. Prices might be a bit higher than some other places, but good taste doesn't come cheap!”
“So lovely to still see a real, honest to god toy shop with a ton of great, high quality toys and books. Grabbed a few items for friends and family and was really impressed at the wide age ranges served - wish I was local so this place could become my go-to for gifts!”
“Hidden gem for board gamers. They have a great stash of well selected board games. Yes it’s basically piled high with stuff and it’s not the most comfortable shopping experience but that’s part of the charm.”
“We've been looking for a local spot to go for great gifts and children's selections.
The staff makes this place extra special. Thank you for the help! I think we got ~4 kids squared away today haha”
“For this holiday season, the cute toys and trinkets at PopMart are the "IT" gift for 2025. Adults, children and entire families squash themselves into this small store. There is a line to get in most days starting along Powell Street...but if you happen to show up when there isn't one, go inside and browse the selection. The mezzanine has a life-sized character for photo ops/selfies. The staff are very patient about answering questions (tip for adults: ask for gift advice if needed). Small items can be good value. Pop Mart appeal: most characters are " secret " in their boxes, so you don't know what color of character you'll end of getting. The mystery is just like gambling and a bit addictive. Best of luck on your choice!”

“A wide variety of toys, clothes, and stuffed animals. Love fiddlesticks! Recently had a great experience where two ladies by the names of Naya and Samantha helped me pick out a gift for my niece.”
“Such a cute toy store! Friendly staff, Parents reading to their children in the mini library. Jerri was very helpful. Will go back again for a family board game.”
“This is one of the most well-stacked shop of this kind I have experienced in the Bay Area. Unlike competitors on Piedmont, Lakeshore or College avenue, parking isn't a problem. It's worth a trip to El Cerrito.”
