“Back in the good ol 80s from kindergarten through the 4th grade my school gave me Driftwood chocolate milk. In my opinion theres not another chocolate milk brand that comes close to Driftwood. Fast forward to now, it sucks because the drive through is closed and I dont know a single damn shop that carries Driftwood chocolate milk! Not even another “Driftwood” market on Santa Anita in south El Monte carry it. Pathetic. When you love chocolate milk and you come across some Driftwood somewhere, consider yourself blessed and grab it and drink it and ennnjoooyyyy it.”

“I went and the clerk that was working there (his name was Dante) kept complaining out loud about how he wasn't supposed to be there that day. There was another clerk with him named Randal and he was very rude to customers. It almost seemed like he was being rude to customers just to entertain himself. Anyway, both clerks were a laugh. I'll give them that. I'll definitely be coming back.”

“Stopped by Mazatlan Market today for some snacks and beer. Really friendly owners. They made me feel like family. I also ended picking up some scratches too. They have a lot of different grocery items as well. Milk if you need to pick up some real quick. All different kinds of beer. The place is well kept and organized. You can see They have pride of ownership in this place. Would definitely recommend this market if you are in the area.”

“I feel like the prices are actually cheaper than Costco (sometimes). Just got a new membership for $25 using the discount and I was fortunate enough to come when this place was pretty empty. Food court menu is less extensive than that of Costco but for the stuff they do have, it's pretty good for a small price. Kind of felt like this was a mix between Costco and Walmart. Anyways pretty solid spot to buy items in bulk.”

“I’ve been going to this store for over 10 years and to be honest I’ve always had pretty good service. It was about maybe 3-5yrs that I management and the employees became more then just people , they became my friend and as well as family. I’ve ran into a handful of mean, rude , disrespectful weather they worked there or not and they always seem to turn that atmosphere around and keep positive vibes in the air. Remeber ??♀️ They have to deal with ALL KINDS OF PERSONALITIES all . day . long…… so thank you guys for your patience and kindness I definitely recommend this store. Oh btw THEYRE REALLY CLEAN (:”

“I used to be a regular here for my coffee and cigarettes. But they don't carry menthol and I stopped drinking coffee on the regular. I decided to stop by to get donut and coffee. Omg how much this store has changed. The food areas look so updated. I was intrigued by this new espresso machine and decided to used it. I loved it! My iced Americano was great. The donut on the other hand didn't taste as good as it used to. It was a bit on the dry side. Overall this store is still good imo.”

They just add the Chevron car wash application on your mobile phone that lets you purchase a single car wash or a subscription for $ 28 or $30 a month unlimited. They have new pumps with diesel. “This has got to be the most honest gas station ever! Usually I'm afraid to pay with my debit card because other gas stations require a larger amount than what you purchase for. Not this gas station they only took what I only spent. It's refreshing and comforting to know that there are still honest and very affordable gas stations with the lowest gas prices around!”

“This 7/11 has a ok location. On the corner of Rush and Tyler, so street parking here is a no-go. It does have a parking lot that is small and convenient. There's two restaurants and a water refill station on this spot and parking is still good.. so it's not crazy. Usually, I come here to get me a soda and hotdog combo.. for 2 bucks you can't go wrong! Plus the beer selection is good too. They have a walk-in beer fridge which is badass for summertime, too bad you can't enjoy your hotdog combo in there, I tried haha :) For a convenience store this is my favorite. Open all the time and these guys are always cracking jokes with a lot of people, mostly the regulars but always funny”
