“Nov 2023 my family an I had a flood in our home 3days before Thanksgiving needless to say we couldn't stay ,we made reservations an checked into Hilton garden inn ,in Elk Grove CA,the minute we checked in front desk staff made us feel welcomed we could breath a Lil, everyday we left to check on the house an some days we'd come back tired depending on what we we're met with it was depressing but when we walked in everyone would asked us how things were going,needless to say the holidays weren't the same I remember Xmas Eve a very kind man ALEX an a young lady named JENNA asked where would we be on Xmas i think they felt bad that we would be in the hotel that was a special moment ,I learned something that day it doesn't matter your situation if you have good ppl around so we where at the hotel for 29 days we became very fond of a few other staff members thanks to all of you who made us feel at home,Davion an his twin Cameron you guys are the best ,Aaron ,Jackson , Austin,Housekeeping you made of comfortable , the Rose family feels very blessed to have been in the good hands of The Hilton garden inn family ,Happy New Year ??”

“When I lived out of state and had to visit Sacramento/Elk Grove, I stayed at the Holiday Inn Express! It is such a beautiful hotel! I love the location as it is close to shopping and restaurants! It is also close to Highway 99! One year, I stayed during Thanksgiving week. I found myself shopping on Black Friday, just because I could. The stores were right there! The hotel is clean and well maintained. The staff is exceptionally kind too! Our room was always beautiful, clean, and spacious! I loved the full length mirror and vanity mirror over the sink! I appreciated having a mini fridge in the room! We especially appreciated the Continental breakfast for guests! They have a nice variety of food to enjoy! The staff kept it well stocked and clean to keep up with guests coming through! As a single mom, I felt safe being in the hotel, walking the lobby, and hallways. We had a beautiful view of the pool and the streets! I used to work in the hotel industry and rarely saw the hotel as a guest, so, being on the other side of things is fun! I want to take another opportunity to mention the staff as they are hard workers Be kind to them!”

“Always a pleasure to stay with Marriott. Had to remind the lady at the desk of my Bonvoy status, never have been upgraded at this hotel. Never even offered to upgrade me. And i dont stay during peak times.”

“excellent customer serviceWe went to the rooftop pool and bar at Canopy for a couple of drinks and to relax at the pool, and were not disappointed. The cocktails and the bartender were amazing — delicious drinks and fast, friendly service. The pool wasn’t loud or crowded and it was the chill vibe we were hoping for. The pool is on the 14th floor and the views from the rooftop at night were beautiful. The restrooms were clean and very spacious, which really helps when you have to change clothes. We’d definitely go back!”

“The rooms are great, the restroom in our particular room smelled of urine! But the staff and service are outstanding. This location does not do room cleaning unless you request it. But, it can be done. The location is within driving distance from major highways and food establishments! I recommend this hotel for accommodation!”

“Melissa completely ruined the experience with her bad attitude and unprofessional behavior. Will be filing a complaint against her for canceling my reservation for no valid reason after I had already checked in. Approached with a snotty attitude accusing me of having a party because I had a balloon topper. Repeatedly told her I was not having a party just decorating for a bday and there would only be 2 guest (me and my girlfriend). She kept accusing me telling me she was going to have her staff watching me. I go up to my room and start unpacking on for her to call being petty telling me I had to come out and get refunded because she's canceling my reservation. My girlfriend went back to see what the issue was and the associate Charity sat there and lied for her manager saying my demeanor in the way I said okay well I'm not having a party. If I have to keep repeating myself 5 times as the manager keeps accusing me then yes my demeanor is going to change to match the managers tone. If she didn't like my tone then maybe she should change the way she approaches and talks to guest. She got the same tone and demeanor she approached me with”
