“I love the convenience of the location, the security of my mail, and the guys who work here! I've had a box here for a few years now and it's worth every penny. Thank you Downtown Mail!!”

“Whenever I plug this into my gps (it’s my local post office), I see the overall review (2.9) - & I can’t believe it’s not higher!!! So I finally decided to review myself. I have gone to this post office several times this year & each time - without fail - it has been a fantastic experience!!! The employees are all very knowledgeable, quick, & courteous. I seriously appreciate your service to the community!!”

“Friendly staff even if it's busy and there is a little no line, they get through each person kindly. Easy to park. Wheelchair accessible parking, but not entrance. The wait here is not usually long. They have papers to renew passports, but not apply.”

“This small postal service office is a full service post office. Although it has a very small service area, the two registers are usually manned ar all times. The employees are not overly friendly, but can you blame them...they work for the USPS! They do their job well and efficiently, getting in and out is not a problem. If you don't want to be in this small and often crowded lobby, I suggest you go to the big postal hub on Industrial blvd. There you will be in an enormous lobby with plenty of room for a lot more people than at the Merkley Blvd site.”

“This isn't my houses USPS office but I went here to send a package. Midday Friday. The lobby had a steady flow of customers but the guy at the counter was friendly and fast. The building was clean and had the selection of envelopes and boxes that all offices have.”

“This is the closest USPS to me even though I live all the way in south natomas so I go here frequently to mail my Etsy packages. The building is very outdated as others have mentioned but who cares? Sac isn't exactly known for its beautiful architecture. Wendy is nice and she always processes my drop off packages in a timely manner which I (and my customers!) appreciate.”

“I am giving US PS Carmichael five stars because of all the very good people I have encountered, with the exception of a person named Liz, she is about the most rudest person I have ever encountered, and should be forced to retire”

“Second time coming into this post office and I love it. Area is kinda sketchy, it's located next to the Vivi's so it was hard to locate at first. Once inside it's open and staff greet you immediately. Never any lines to deal with so maybe I'm just lucky . But I always know that if I need to go in there to send something off it'll be a breeze coming here. Thank you to the young lady that always has a smile on her face and works efficiently.”

“In a world where so many people (including myself) are mean, gruff and cold, an employee named BIANCA is a refreshing change of pace. She has such a pleasant smile and made me feel at home when I walked into the Royal Oaks post office. She even steered me past some of the land-mines while I was trying to renew my passport. What a gem! From now on I will treat all my clients and customers in the same way. You’d do well to recognize and remunerate such people.Virgil C.”

“Great post office! Definitely could use some signage during construction to direct people though, the dark hallway with no signs was unnerving. Service though was fast, friendly, and affordable.”

“I am a former lettercarrier(retired) and probably a little bias, but I think the U.S.Postal Service is the best delivery service in the world. Think about it, they deliver to the box at your home, the cluster boxes in hi-rise, the boxes along the highway where you see no houses, even the lonely box out on the desert in Arizona and Nevada. UPS and FedEx can't say that. And they do it 6 days a week.”

“I am really sad and sorry about a lot of the customers' unpleasant experiences in this specific post office. That is why every time I came to this post office, I always expected the worst-case scenarios. Time and again, I was surprised because I always received good customer service from any member of the staff. They may not be overly friendly, but they are helpful and knowledgeable. I am an anxious person, and I like asking questions. I always got helped all the time. I am thankful Natomas has this post office.”

“Came here right at opening time and the male clerk helped me even though I had 20 letters to send. Told me how I could be more efficient next time. Worked very efficiently and spoke with kindness, even apologized for a different post offices mistakes. For the first time ever, I left the post office with a a smile!”

“I had a PO Box here at the Arden Way Post Office for over 30 years. I saw all the changes in this office from a very busy post office with chairs and waiting for your number call a long time ago. They don't do that anymore! The Arden Way Post Office is much quieter now compared to the old days. The employees at the windows are nice now. Of course, don’t expect them to like private companies. But much better than before. I think the job load is lighter than in the old days.My PO Box is the most reliable way to get my mail. Better than those mails sent to my house.”

“This is NOT an actual post office. It's a carrier annex. It's not a retail location so they don't accept payment of any kind. You can change your address, get mailbox keys, or pick up packages.”
