“Found this treasure when I was looking for a place that could ship DHL that was open on Saturday. So incredibly old-school San Francisco, run by people who really know their stuff. Plus: cat in a dinosaur costume.”

“This store is great because they have a notary on duty much more often than neighboring UPS stores. It's very convenient. I am always glad to give them my business. Highly recommend. You will not be disappointed.”

“I had an exceptional experience at the UPS Store on Redwood Road in Oakland. Evelyn, the staff member who assisted me with notary services, went above and beyond to ensure everything was handled smoothly. Despite the busy store, she skillfully juggled multiple customers while maintaining a friendly and professional demeanor. What impressed me the most was her dedication to accuracy and attention to detail. Evelyn even took the initiative to contact the notary association for clarification on a specific matter for me, showcasing her commitment to providing accurate information. Her excellent customer service and multitasking abilities are truly commendable.”

The owner Shiva is a fantastic guy and an expert in printing. He made sure my letters were printed with high quality and without a hitch - he knows how to get the job done! I am very happy with Easy Copy and will go back for future projects.”

“I have been a customer since they opened decades ago. The previous owner was excellent but the current team is just as good. Gets lots of customers but the owner and staff are never flustered, always pleasant, helpful and kind. Go out of their way to be helpful. Reasonaby priced. Very knowledgeable and patient especially with seniors who are not as tech savvy. So lucky to have them in the neighborhood. Beverly Cheney”

“This is my go to location for all ups related business. I love their new hours. They close a little later than most ups stores and are now open on Sunday’s which is super helpful with all this online shopping going on nowadays. I always arrive a little late, a few minutes past their normal business hours and they still make the exception to take my packages even though they could simply refuse. The new owners are very kind and pleasant to work with compared to the previous ones. Back at the start of 2020 when Covid was disrupting business as usual the previous owners stopped giving us receipts for our packages which caused huge issues whenever packages ended up missing or stolen so I stopped coming here but ever since the new management took over this place has been best ups store around.”

“I needed a document notarized and overnited to a title company in Washington. I found the closest UPS store in the Richmond Marina area and called. Voice mail. You know it's not going to get answered when they ask you to leave the date and time you called. Surprise, they never called me back. Instead, I headed over to see them in person. No notary there and they were not sure when she would be there. Great. From the parking lot, I called the UPS store off San Pablo. They answered and were ready to help. In about 10 minutes, I pulled up in front. Fantastic service. Very fun to talk to and would do business with them again in a heartbeat.”

“All I can say is: they are a great service with a small town feel. We are expats and needed a mail service that gave us complete flexibility of a physical address that we can access online!. We are able to do "virtually" everything we can do in a physical environment. Reading and executing mail and packages all online. They are US Postal Service authorized to accept any package that one can accept at home, deposit checks, ship packages, notary services. When a package come in. you have the option of picking up, or like us living overseas, have the mail scanned for viewing online and then deciding what to do with it: Now you can have a mailbox anywhere in the world to accomplish your personal or business needs. We chose Mail Boxes Plus Berkeley because it is close to our original residence and resources, meaning that when we come back to the SF bay area we know our way around. Great service, reasonably priced, good fun people and the location is next to some awesome shops including the Claremont Resort and Spa.”

“This is a fantastic alternative to the post office for sending and receiving mail. This long-time small business offers inexpensive PO Boxes (much less than the post office) and safe package receiving, with notary services, and smart service. You can send via UPS or USPS. There is a no-nonsense vibe when you go in, but there is also a clear integrity that you NEED for mail and for notary services. I will be happy to never go to the post office again, and it will be great to not have to worry about my mail being stolen - as is happening all over the area.”

“We are actually members of their Burlingame location, but I figured I'd post here as well since this appears to be their main Yelp page. Please see my other review, but in short, this place is awesome and is a great choice for anyone who is no longer using their in person office.”

“Paul was so VERY helpful when I visited the store. My brother needed me to sign something to settle our mother's estate, but I had to be at UCSF to take my husband in for surgery. It was an easy walk to the store, Paul was able to receive the document, print it,and send it back rightaway. Thanks Paul!!”

“As a single family household on middle island, I don't have access to easily drive to the post office on Webster. Square One has become a regular stop and I'm so thankful for the convenience to mail my packages more easily. They can accommodate shipping service for USPS, FedEx, etc and truly make it a one stop shop.”

“This is a great service. It's run by a nice guy with a British accent. He is very thorough and he knows his business. I would recommend this business if you need a mailbox or a mailing address. It's under $20 a month (I forgot the right amount. Either $14 or $16 a month). I've used this service for about 15 years and I've never had a missing package or any other issues.”

“I have been a customer at Orinda Mail Call since 2012. They provide a small number of private mail boxes (PMB's) of different sizes and provide you with a street address to get FedEx and UPS deliveries, just like competitors The UPS Store and Postal Annex do. They have a total of 120 small mailboxes to rent and 32 medium ones. The main difference between them and other mail stores is they are a single store (not a national company with franchises) and rent mailboxes for much less money: $90 for 13 months for a small mailbox, if paid for the year in full (they throw in the 13th bonus month if you pay in full). If you pay by the month, the cost comes tout o a little more. Compare this to $200-$400 a year at most of UPS Stores. You also have to pay a refundable $5 deposit for the mailbox key and another refundable $5 deposit if you want a key for 24-hour access. (They didn't have that latter key available for me when I first signed up, and it took a few weeks for them to get one since their locksmith they used was not available sometimes.) Otherwise they are open from 10 AM to 6 PM Monday through Friday, and 10 AM to 5 PM on Saturdays. They are closed Sunday. The USPS post office, should you need that, is also in the next plaza, just literally a 1 or 2-minute walk away. There is also a UPS Store and FedEx Office nearby. USPS mail is delivered there usually at 10 AM, and they finish putting it in the mailboxes by noon. It is such a small space, like the size of a household bathroom. I have rarely seen any other customer in there. I like small and personal! The reason they are so inexpensive is they are part of McCalou's, a chain of small, old-time department stores in northern California. One of the McCalou's locations is next door, and is actually connected to Orinda Mail Call from the inside. (McCalou's also owns Hollyhock Cards & Gifts.) The employee only works there a few hours a day putting mail in the mailboxes. But if you need someone or have to pick up a package, all you do is ring the buzzer and they come right away from McCalou's. If for some reason no one comes in a few minutes, just walk next door to McCalou's and get someone. I've only had to do this once. Usually they come in a few seconds. They have always been so kind and courteous, and you get to know the people there. Joan is the former manager, who retired, and now Jane is (I think that is her name--I should really know as I have seen her enough times). They have always happily talked to me. They usually have one of the other employees work there on their day off. I have no complaints. They have never lost any of my mail and do not give me grief if I don't come for a month or so to get my mail, like my old post office in another state did. I don't think they provide service like The UPS Stores do, like shipping services or forwarding all your mail to another place (at your expense) when you request it (though the former manager Joan offered to do it for me since she liked me). But I am sure if you called in the would tell you what mail you have. Also, if you have Certified Mail from USPS or the like, I think they give you a slip and you have to go to the actual post office to sign for it and pick it up. I have never received Certified Mail here, but I like this option since it allows you to refuse the letter if you want (like if you are trying to avoid service), rather than them automatically accepting it. You have to realize that they are not really there to compete with other mailing stores, especially at $90 a year. They just have always provided this service, mostly to the locals, and I am sure they do not make much of a profit. This is the only mail store McCalou's has; the other locations do not have them. I am so lucky to have found them. I had to do my research, as they do not advertise.”

“I had a wonderful experience interacting with the UPS manager, Victor! I had managed to bring a large piece of furniture for return, carrying it by foot up the hill, and arrived at UPS just as they were about to close. To add to my stress, there was also an issue with the return label. Victor was exceptionally accommodating and eager to assist. His generosity not only made my day but my entire week, and I am immensely grateful to experience this kindness in the community! ?”

“Arman is so helpful and kind! I always stop here for any packages/mail. Much better than going to USPS and standing in a long line only to have someone rude and unhelpful assisting you. He also does notarizations, FedEx, etc.!”
