Sunsol Nursery is a hidden gem in Escondido, offering a wide selection of healthy plants at great prices. Customers appreciate the friendly and welcoming staff, who are often family members. The nursery is known for its reasonable prices, with some plants like 5-gallon pots selling for as low as $16, and they operate on a trust-based cash system. Visitors find the plants to be well taken care of, and many have found rare items such as wide leaf milkweed, which is in good shape and priced lower than elsewhere. While some customers experienced a few plants dying shortly after purchase, overall, the nursery provides a pleasant shopping experience. It’s a popular spot for plant enthusiasts, caterpillar feeders, and garden lovers seeking quality plants and helpful service. Sunsol Nursery is highly recommended as a friendly, affordable, and well-stocked nursery in the area.

I had a wonderful experience here! Celia and Ramiro were so kind and knowledgeable about everything you could think of. They helped me choose the plants that fit best to what I was looking for in my garden and had no problem loading and unloading them for me. Will definitely be coming back to purchase more plants from them.
