“As a Renner Petroleum patron, I appreciate that this location is tucked away a little bit and close to the Humboldt Bay. When fueling up in Eureka, I try to avoid Costco's gas station due to the influx of people and long lines. Though close to Costco, this gas station is away from the main drag and closer to the water. It has never been crowded for me and I've never had to wait to gas up.”

“Quality. Yet, I was surprised by the pro-rated stipulation that I was previously unaware of when I went to replace my tire from when it exploded on the way out of Willow Creek, traveling west. The tires were only about 3 months old. Been doing a lot of driving ? gotta remember to get the rotations done!”
“All gas stations on 101 throughout Eureka are creepy and this is no exception. Why is it that every single one has a jacked up credit card reader and pinpad? Once I had to go to three different gas stations before I could find one that worked. I'm not sure what the restroom situation is and I don't want to know.”
“Stop by this location to pick up some snacks and use the restroom. Cindy helped us check out and she was awesome. The bathroom is clean. We found lots of cool snacks, even flavored crickets, that they call crickets. The neighborhood is a little sketchy but just make sure you lock your car when you go in to grab your snacks they have plenty of drink options and healthy snacks as well 10 out of 10 totally recommend this location thank you Cindy for a great experience”

“I've been to many Costco locations and they've somehow hired all of the folks with great customer service skills at this one in Eureka! From the customer service desk staff, tire installers, cashiers, optical and even the greeters and folks who review your receipt at the exit, they're all personable and helpful. It's a little hit or miss at the food counter, but today the woman with whom I interacted was delightful.So the store is A+ but a word of warning if you're buying appliances online: there are consistent delivery delays/issues up in our area. The site says you must live within a 50 mile radius of the store, BUT, they don't deliver them from the store. They subcontract the delivery/install to outside companies and both orders I placed this year were significantly delayed. It took weeks to get the appliances delivered and then installation was to be set up with yet another company who didn't contact me for 10 days after the delivery. We installed the dishwasher ourselves and could have saved ourselves a lot of frustration by renting a U-Haul pickup for an hour and going to Costco and buying directly from the Eureka store. Now waiting for a refrigerator to be delivered next week and regret not having taken my own advice (bought on 6/6 with 6/23 as earliest possible delivery date.)No reduced star rating for Eureka location due to online purchase issues.”

My car's tire pressure light came on and he redirected me to the complimentary air pumps. “Recently, I split the bill with my partner and the cashiers were more than kind to allow us to split the bill. Their restrooms are always clean looking and smelling. My favorite is how the soap smells after you wash your hands. I appreciate how professional their tire staff was. Also, if possible and at your disposal, don't forget to wear a flamingo shirt or clothes on Fridays apparently staff do. Adorable!”
