“All I can say is WOW! Our cat has a lot of anxiety and won't even let us clip her nails without a fight. I couldn't believe how gentle and caring the owner was when grooming/giving a hair trim to our kitty. She is truly the cat whisperer! Our kitty let her give her a bath, nail trim, and lion cut without any issues. She made her feel so safe and calm the entire time. We will definitely be back!”

“My experience at this shop was outstanding because of Emily - she went above and beyond for me and my pups, and I wanted to express my gratitude. I have 2 elderly little Maltese, one is going through treatment for lymphoma and the medication he’s on makes him hungry ALL the time. It was the end of the day and we were out of food, so I did a search for one of their favorite brands, “Just Food for Dogs” on google maps and the closest location was a few minutes away from where I was. I drove to the address, but I couldn’t find it, so I called the store (in actuality it was Petfood Express, but there’s a listing error on google maps). Anyway, Emily picked up the phone and she is so sweet, warm and bubbly. I verified the location, and was thankful the store was still open so I thanked her and told her I would be there shortly. She informed me that the store had actually just closed (another google maps error). I expressed my disappointment because I really needed to pick up some food. She asked how close I was (I was in the parking lot) and because she hadn’t closed out the register just yet she said she could check me out if I wanted to run in. She was waiting for me at the door, I knew exactly what I needed, she helped me pick out a few flavors and checked me out. I was so very thankful!! She truly understands the meaning of exceptional customer, and helped me (and my hungry pup) in a time of need. It’s not very often that I leave an establishment feeling like the person I interacted with really cares, but this was one of those rare moments. I would definitely go out of my way to visit this shop again because it was such a good experience. Thank you again!”

“Great first experience washing our family pet at Woodlands Pet Food & Treats in Greenbrae. What really made our experience great was their extra friending reception and assistance getting set up to wash our dog. They were very helpful and made the process easy. Woodlands washing has 3 stations or tubs. Their tile tubs are nice and deep, easily accommodating a large dog with steps leading to each tub. We got lucky I suppose as there was a station open and we went right in. We had a little issue getting the rinsing water warm but one of the employees came over right away and helped adjust the temperature. They couldn't have been nicer about it. The store itself is nice however the aisles are a bit tight to navigate with a pet. They seemed to offer a good variety of quality products, pretty much everything you made need to take care of your pet. We'll be back again soon for another wash. The price was very fair, $15.”

But she's also detail oriented and great with people. She has helped me resolve a few tedious requests/issues that I've had over the past year and she always does it with a lot of patience and kindness. The other staff members are wonderful as well. Top notch customer service and my dog is so much happier and healthier when eating the fresh chicken and rice.”

“Overall a great pet store. They have a huge variety of high quality food. Very friendly Staff and knowledgable. They have rescue kittens up for adoption there. The only thing is the room isn't ventilated well and it smells quite bad. I highly recommend they get an air purifier. It's hard to hang with the kittens because of the smell. Also I feel bad for the kittens because they are in that room with no ventilation. It's a great place and the small tweak to the adoption room would be a huge plus for the kittens and adopters.”

“I can't speak highly enough about Woodlands-Novato. They are just a great team of people who truly care about the well-being of animals (and their human companions)! We had a love-bug foster kitten who was with us for months because we really wanted to adopt him but realized he needed much more activity/stimulation like other kittens/dogs in the home. It was heartbreaking to let him go, but Woodlands helped him find the absolutely perfect new home where he is now very happy and loved. They were all so kind and communicative and it shows they just really care about their work!”

I bought one impulsively and the staff was very knowledgeable and made sure I had everything to maintain my fishes health. Had the employees not educated me on tank size, filter requirements and suitable tank mates my dude would not be thriving. ( and he is) Ten stars for great employees. Upon my own research. I found the business practices of betta Fish as a whole in America to be unethical. I love my fish. He is happy and healthy.”
