Cashier on duty shamed me for my choice of dog food and pressured me to buy a more expensive alternative currently being featured in-store. Pretty uncomfortable experience and confusing way to treat a customer.

Good fish selection. I like that they have salt water fish. Lots of fresh water plants. Overall great variety of items on sale. They have beautiful reptiles, frogs, tarantulas, mammals, and birds. Well taken care of. Also a vet center.

I had been bringing my long-haired Chihuahua to this Petco for over a year. Initially they were doing a good job grooming her. Just over a year is when we noticed the grooming jobs began becoming bad. This happened on several occasions our dog was getting hack jobs. We'd pick her up, and ask why her cut was so bad, and they "the women" claimed it was our dog's fault. Stating that our dog was being aggressive all of sudden during visits. This had never occurred before, nor had they ever brought it to our attention. This occurred on more than one occasion. Yes, dog can be fussy but if your a trained groomer you should know that this breed can be temperamental at times. However, she hadn't never displayed it before. The groomer also had the audacity to claim that maybe something happened to her, or did we do something to make her change. I asked WTH was she insinuating, and she said "Oh, I didn't mean any harm". That was insulting, and out of line. The last time we groomed her they told us that she could not return, because no one no longer (groomers) wanted to work with her. There was a chick in the background behind her rudely chiming in reiterating for some reason. I was completely dumbfounded. Are you telling me my dog is the only one that has ever come through that you've dealt with that's had this problem before? "No, but none of other groomers want to work with her anymore". This is a joke. There is no way my dog all of sudden became a nightmare. You accuse me of doing something to my dog, and then you say "don't bring her back here".
After about two weeks later we were giving her a bath, and then we realized why they didn't want her back. They lied...we found a cut on the back of our dog which we hadn't noticed that was scabbed, and in the healing process.
It was about a inch long this could have only occurred doing they're grooming process. They just boldly told a lie, because they had injured my dog while grooming. It's our fault that we didn't check her more thoroughly. It's also our fault that I spent at the least $90-$100 a month over the years at this Petco that should be called Petno. So, maybe other ppl had decent experiences there, but Petco is just about like every other co. nowadays bs poor customer service, and still looking for a tip. So here's a tip it all comes out in the wash sooner or later. Your employees are a representation of you. Don't believe that standard reply the manager posts after you leave a comment. That's called due process just to give the perception of concern ? there really is none. ???

Went inside to purchase a fish earlier today and as I understand they may be under staff, we waited about 20 minutes just to get helped. When an employee who I believe is named Allison (who I later found out to be the manager) finally came to help, she approached us with a very bad attitude. She was pressuring us to purchase a total of 5 fish when we just wanted 1. The reason being the fish is used to being with a school of fish. She would not allow us to purchase the fish unless it was all 5 but she didn’t know we already had some at home. Overall very bad experience. We feel she was upset because she was busy doing something else and we pulled her away from her task. We are very frequent shoppers at Petco but after this experience we don’t plan to go back. I’m only giving this place 2 stars because the cashier was very friendly.

My puppy came in for his first appointment and all the staff greeted him. They were very patient with him as he was a bit nervous. Overall great experience as a first-time dog owner.

Petco has always kind of been my go to but miss Melanie always makes the experience that much better she always knows about the products and is always on top of her customer service. I went in today 3/11/24 and of course there she was at the register to make the checkout experience quick efficient and she always takes care of any problems if there's ever any issues shout out again to Melanie thank you again for making the shopping experience at our local Petco that much better. My 9 yr old daughter even says how much she loves to shop there because she's so nice.

Hours not up to date; really needed pet food. ; workers rude when we were asking why they closed early,
