“We were staying at Ferndale on our way up the Northern California coast and wanted to try a local restaurant. This was the only place that was open when we arrived at 7pm, and we were glad that we stopped by. The service (from Ryan) was excellent, and the place is beautiful and not crowded. We enjoyed the daily special (chicken breast wrapped in bacon), filet mignon and salads (not over dressed), and the locally made ice cream. The whipped butter is to die for. Overall, a good dining experience at a reasonable price.”

“The comfort inn & suites and Fortuna California is one of the better hotels I've ever been to not only for myself but for my kids as well. They have tablets in the rooms so the kids can watch something or play on those and you don't have to watch cartoons all night lol. The service is great as well I have not met one helper that was rude or gave me attitude and I use to go there 3 times a month for 2 days at a time for about 7 years. So check them out plus they have a little snack room(that cost $) that's open 24/7 and then the breakfast which is free of course. I highly recommend them”

“Olivia was incredible! The Lilac room was everything I could have ever dreamed of with a tub in the room!? Beautiful lilac coloring everywhere you looked, gorgeous glass window, a killer view from the room, and the entire place is beautiful! The garden was magical to explore and the tea and coffee were delicious. Breakfast felt so fancy and it was just the most comfortable experience ever! We even had a late night check in and it went SO smoothly. Will be staying here again!”
