The Victorian Inn is a historic inn and restaurant in the picturesque town of Ferndale. It offers a beautiful, lovely, and romantic atmosphere that is not crowded. Guests enjoy wonderful, quiet nights in gorgeous, clean rooms, some with perfect views of the town, and note the beach is close by car. The staff and owners are lovely, friendly, and accommodating, providing excellent and great service. They make everything easy with clear directions. The restaurant provides a good dining experience with delicious food. Dishes include filet mignon cooked to perfection, daily specials like chicken breast wrapped in bacon, paella Portuguese, shrimp cocktail, and salads that are not over dressed. The locally made ice cream and whipped butter are highlights. The price is reasonable, though some note it can be high. Overall, it is a fantastic spot, a highlight of a trip, and is highly recommended for a date night or while walking the historic main street.
Beautiful building with incredible history and definitely a bucket list stay. John the desk manager was so very nice and helpful with our needs. I cannot wait to come stay at more of the stunning rooms! Thank you! 😊

A truly unique and historic experience. Innkeeper is very friendly and accommodating. Rooms and property well-kept for being 136 years old. Comfortable, quiet, and relaxing time spent in Ferndale.

We totally stumbled upon this place, we had never even heard of Ferndale but picked it to stay on our way south through the redwoods. The Victorian Inn is a piece of history, Jason was VERY accommodating and super friendly. We will come back and will stay there when we do!
