2873 School St, FortunaI didn’t interact with *Natasha in person myself, but my husband did, and I am SOOOO THANKFUL for her! We adopted a sweet golden doodle who had lived outside for most of her life, and she was in desperate need of a grooming. Very long shaggy coat with matting. Her previous owners were wonderful and kind, she just really needed to be cleaned up. I’ve never had a poodle type dog before so I was not comfortable doing anything myself, although I did my best to brush and trim some of the mats with scissors. We could not get her in quickly anywhere it seemed, but my husband called here and she was so kind and gave us an appointment less than a week from the call date. She did a fabulous job, our dog looks and feels fantastic and just seems so much more comfortable now that she is groomed properly and clean. She was so patient and gentle with her, as our dog Wren was so nervous about it (she is very much still learning how to be a pet and house dog!) Just so encouraging to us, I’m so grateful for her kindness and flexibility and willingness to work with a potentially difficult groom. I’m sure she’s seen it all, but a very BIG thank you from us, and our little Wren bird!! Included some before and after photos for reference. What a difference! We will be back, for sure. ?

1041 S Main St, FortunaMy husband dropped off Skye,our Husky with instructions on his phone from me for the groomer. ? They read the text and quoted a price and Skye looks fantastic. We found our groomer and Skye loves being groomed its his spa day. We will be back at the end of Fall. We appreciate all the employees.

The food is delicious and the portion size is large! You definitely get your money's worth when you order a meal.
The restaurant is clean, well kept, and more importantly so is the restroom! The staff are friendly and nice and happy to see you, cleaning off tables quickly once they're vacated.
10/10 would recommend.

2865 School St, FortunaTold about this place by hotel staff in nearby Scotia. Quick acknowledgement and seating by friendly staff. Limited seating but there was room for the three of us. Large portions! We ordered the Monte Cristo and the Country Benedict. Omg soooooo good!! We couldn’t finish it all. Highly recommend this place!!!

Fish and chips: 10/10
Batter was light, crispy, and didn't feel oily. The fish was SUPER fresh. Probably the best fish and chips we have tried ever.
Chicken wings: 10/10
We tried the salt and vinegar. It was soft and crunchy on the outside, not dry. Blue cheese sauce was perfect with it and seasoned perfectly.
Steak salad: 12/10
Was not expecting a whole steak with the salad. The candied walnuts and blue cheese combination was perfect. Highly recommend this salad. Dressing comes on the side, which was exactly what we needed.
Clam chowder: 8/10
Not really our cup of tea. It was too thick and too many potatoes. It was seasoned well though.
The patio is super cute! We enjoyed our quick pit stop here.

1603 Sandy Prairie Rd, FortunaIf the current investigation at time of service on search warrant at this rescue kennel, was in any way close to substantiated with findings of abuse..all animals would have been seized by AC . They were NOT. Vets examined rescue pets. NO findings of abuse or neglect. They check daily thru AC. This seems like a set up and mess with situation.
The services should be used in real animal abuse and neglect case, not something like this. Get real
