Store is very clean, inviting, well laid out. I drove 1.5hrs just to get the best food for my dog and it was definitely worth it. Highly highly recommend.

We were incredibly fortunate to have Dr. Stegmeier with us through it. In such an unbelievably shitty situation, he somehow made everything feel a little less terrible.
He was compassionate, transparent, patient, and genuinely kind. He took the time to explain our options, gave us his honest thoughts and guidance, and never once made us feel rushed or pressured. I truly felt like he had thoroughly reviewed Dudley’s history and files before we even walked through the door, so we didn’t have to start from scratch or explain everything all over again.
There is no way to make a day like today okay. But Dr. Stegmaier made an absolutely heartbreaking experience gentler than I ever thought it could be, and we are so freaking grateful for that.
Thank you, Dr. Stegmaier, for taking such incredible care of our boy and for taking care of us, too. We will never forget it.

The staff and vets at this hospital have been very responsive and available to help resolve any health issue that comes up for our pack goats Bill and Bob. 1264 Giuntoli Lane, ArcataThe best place around. This is my 3rd time here. Clayton is a family guy and farmer, and comes from a family of farmers. His team are always so friendly and helpful. I tried the breakfast bowl, choose your own menu option, with a side of the BEST homemade gravy in the country; it has lots of sausage in it.
The fresh produce on the way in is from Willow Creek and is beautiful. They have decaf espresso. The donuts and pastries and also the BEST in the country. I have tried a few places as a travel nurse around the country... you will not be disappointed here. You will leave knowing you want to come again if your a local, and wishing you were if your not.

1604 G Street, ArcataThe food is on the pricier side but delicious. I don’t eat red meat and came here with 3 of my friends who do. So many vegetarian and vegan options all with fantastic flavor. My friend who usually doesn’t enjoy vegetarian food couldn’t stop saying how impressed he was with his marvelous muffin and hummus and pita bread. I tried it and it was fantastic. Everything tasted super fresh. Service was slow, but only one person was working the register taking orders and the place was packed (for good reason)

The prices are very reasonable and actually on the low end but the quality is on the high end. Due to my travel schedule I had an early dinner so the atmosphere was minimal but with a full restaurant it would be great. It’s actually very large inside with multiple seating areas and decorated very Mexican kitchie!!! Highly recommend!

Frequently throughout the year, I can get Pliny If my heart so desires. Also, If I’m at a concert at The Basement, ATL or Humbrews, I can swing in here. Prices are comparable but, There’s so much more selection here, also this place only serves variations of beer, as much as I like slamming down cocktails, I just can’t afford it in Arcata (a lot like rent).
