“I rarely leave reviews, but after my experience with Fremont Foreign Auto, I felt they absolutely deserved one.
I initially reached out because I was looking to have some major routine maintenance done along with an overall inspection of my Land Rover. My experience started off on a great note with Sherry, who responded to my email inquiry promptly, answered my initial questions, and quickly helped get me scheduled for an appointment.
Martin ended up being my main point of contact and service advisor throughout the repair. What started as routine maintenance ultimately turned into a much larger repair after their inspection uncovered several issues that needed attention. Martin did a great job walking me through what he and the team found, explaining the major concerns, and helping me understand what needed to be addressed. I never felt pressured or left in the dark, which gave me a lot of confidence in trusting them with the work.
The pricing felt fair, and I especially appreciated the transparency and communication throughout the process. They also took the appropriate amount of time with my Land Rover, knowing that the amount of work involved would require the vehicle to be there for a few days. I’d much rather have a shop take their time and do the job correctly than rush through a major repair.
I was so impressed with the overall experience that I ended up bringing my other Land Rover to them as well, and once again, the team took great care of me.
Fremont Foreign Auto has definitely earned my trust and my future business. I’ll absolutely be coming back whenever either of my vehicles needs service, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to friends and family looking for a trustworthy, knowledgeable, and transparent shop.

“Good service in timely manner
There is a significant squeaking sound that can be easily heard when the car moves forward at 3 mph or faster. They never addressed that on there report. Not sure how they missed it since they drove the car into the garage.”

Speed: admittedly I brought a difficult vehicle to smog check yet they handled it in a perfect timely manner!

“Allen did me a solid! Took my 85 Chevy to get a smog check, was told it won’t pass, timing is off. To the truck to Allen, nothing wrong with the timing. Allen recommended a smog check place, in and out within 30 minutes.
I not only take my 85 Chevy to him, but also take my 2012 Honda Accord. Allen is always honest and NEVER over charges.”

“Amazing place! I ordered tires(low profile)/replacement to Union City's Walmart, however they weren't able to mount because of lack of expertise.
I gave a call to Fremont's Walmart and they told me they can do everything and I should pick tires and come to them even without appointment.
Ali(front desk) was so nice and welcome and was able to squeeze me in between appointments and Richard(tech person) replaced tires without any issues. Great demonstration of high expertise, team work and taking care of clients!

“What a great place with wonderful service. I was referred here by a neighbor, and I’m sure glad I booked with them instead of the dealership! My previous experience made me want to pivot. The dealership had tightened my filter so much that other shops couldn’t pry it open, and one place said they’d need to charge me extra just to get it off and replace it.
Dorso’s took a look, did a full workup, checked everything, threw in a tire rotation, and had no problem at all with my filter. No extra hassle like everywhere else! I felt like I’d been going there for years, and they made what seemed like a headache into an easy fix. I’ll definitely be bringing my car back to them!”
