“I went here with no real expectations, I just needed someone to change the oil in my Macan because I didn't have the time to do it. Looking from the outside, it just looks like a beat up smog station, but to my surprise, the inside was actually cushy. Usually, when I let other mechanics do the oil change for my cars, I always worry that they just dump all of the oil that I hand to them into the engine (worse when there's no oil dipstick in the car). Luckily, this did not happen here, the engine was not overfilled. I also got my smog check done at the same time, since I needed one. Everything was done pretty quickly, without an appointment, I just drove over during my lunch break. Will definitely be back.”

“I needed to get an oil change quickly and didn't have the time or the availability to make an appointment. I was running an errand across the street at Safeway and saw their ten minute oil change sign in front of their business. Perfect! It was early in the morning and there was no one else there, even better. The attendant was so nice, I let him know it was my first time and he guided me through the quick process. I was handed a clipboard through my window to just fill out my name and phone number. Service was great! Didn't even have to get out of the car. They checked my filter and other fluids. As the oil change was happening, they also cleaned my front window. Excellent service! I will be coming back again, for sure. Why wait an hour plus in other locations when you can have an oil change done in ten minutes.”

“Been coming here for years now. Same owner. The young guys who were working here are now all grown up .... Maybe they're family? Anyway, I like that I can drive in and see and feel them working the car. I see them bringing out the high mileage bottles of oil. Sometimes they dipstick check and top off. I've taken to asking them for a dipstick check knowing my car. $45 labor + $19.95 for high mileage oil and filter. Would be less if you bought regular oil. Seems about reasonably priced nowadays. Happy to pay more for supporting mom and pop local shop.”

Again, he listened carefully and respected my wishes. He quickly diagnosed the issue, fixed it, and my car runs great now. The cost was much less than other places I have gone in the past. “Came in wanting a new flex pipe welded in to hopefully cure an exhaust leak and they were done in just a few hours! There turned out to be exhaust leaks elsewhere and Al was quick to reach out and offer an amazing rate to finish up the job. I came back a week later without an appointment and they were able to get things done the same day. I live too far away to go to Babe's Mufflers and Race Factory now so finding a local welder in the East Bay was high on my list”
