The dealership had tightened my filter so much that other shops couldn’t pry it open, and one place said they’d need to charge me extra just to get it off and replace it.
Dorso’s took a look, did a full workup, checked everything, threw in a tire rotation, and had no problem at all with my filter. No extra hassle like everywhere else! I felt like I’d been going there for years, and they made what seemed like a headache into an easy fix. I’ll definitely be bringing my car back to them!”

“Got my car stolen and the recovered and Caliber came up to Oakland to tow it back to the shop for me. They worked pretty quickly to order parts and got my keyhole fixed and reprogrammed, fixed the steering column due to hot wiring. They also fixed our grill. Invoice was about $1200 and deductible $500 with my insurance. I appreciate how they provided updates on the progression of the repairs. No issues. Claude says pricing fair for the Bay Area as well.”

“My car is an engine swapped '91 E30, which means almost nothing about it is straightforward. Every time they dug into the car they uncovered another surprise from previous owners, but instead of taking shortcuts they took the time to explain what they found, walk me through the options, and help me make smart decisions.
Over the course of the project they've handled everything from smog and A/C repairs to a 5-lug conversion, suspension, brakes, differential work, exhaust, fuel leaks, and countless smaller issues.
What I appreciate most is that they don't just make things work, they make them right. Anthony, Angelo, Derek, and the entire team have been incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and honest throughout the process.

“I took my 2012 Honda Accord to DG Auto Body to have a loose bumper repaired, a paint scratch touched up, and a damaged visor replaced. Even though mine was a minor job, I was treated as if it was as important as any other. Freddy gave me good advice on the most sensible ways to do the repairs, so that I wasn't overspending on a car that was 14 years old. The work was done within a week of me signing the contract, took about two hours, and turned out beautifully. They even washed the car, I assume because of the touch up paint they had to do, but they did an excellent job.”

“I rarely leave reviews, but after my experience with Fremont Foreign Auto, I felt they absolutely deserved one.
I initially reached out because I was looking to have some major routine maintenance done along with an overall inspection of my Land Rover. My experience started off on a great note with Sherry, who responded to my email inquiry promptly, answered my initial questions, and quickly helped get me scheduled for an appointment.
Martin ended up being my main point of contact and service advisor throughout the repair. What started as routine maintenance ultimately turned into a much larger repair after their inspection uncovered several issues that needed attention. Martin did a great job walking me through what he and the team found, explaining the major concerns, and helping me understand what needed to be addressed. I never felt pressured or left in the dark, which gave me a lot of confidence in trusting them with the work.
The pricing felt fair, and I especially appreciated the transparency and communication throughout the process. They also took the appropriate amount of time with my Land Rover, knowing that the amount of work involved would require the vehicle to be there for a few days. I’d much rather have a shop take their time and do the job correctly than rush through a major repair.
I was so impressed with the overall experience that I ended up bringing my other Land Rover to them as well, and once again, the team took great care of me.
Fremont Foreign Auto has definitely earned my trust and my future business. I’ll absolutely be coming back whenever either of my vehicles needs service, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to friends and family looking for a trustworthy, knowledgeable, and transparent shop.
