“Least expensive place to get your BBQ propane tanks filled but make sure the tank's certification has not expired. For your info to date, this U-Haul charges $3.25 per gallon plus tax. Dales Hardware at $4.99, and Kamps Propane at Depot Road, Hayward, at $4.09. Propane gas has gone up a lot!”

“I used this storage facility for 10 years and I just recently closed my unit because I got a bigger house with room for storage. I would completely recommend the storage facility-- it's very secure and is monitored all the time. The service is friendly--anytime you need anything they will help you. And unlike other storage places that are not protected this is completely safe! If you need storage this is the place to go. Prices are very reasonable too!”

“Heather is wonderful and we've had no issues at this storage lot at all. It's great to be able to use the dumping station and clean your trailer there! That's a huge plus! There are (spayed/neutered) kitties there too, which keep the rodents away. Considering rodents are known to chew wiring in trailers, I love having the cats around!”

“My husband and I are doing a master bed/bath remodel and had originally planned on simply relocating our furniture and other items from that area of the house into the garage or elsewhere in the house. Once we started moving things out, though, we quickly decided we needed a Plan B. Luckily for us, our last minute change of plans was cheerfully and helpfully accommodated by Todd, who was able to quickly bring a container over to us Friday, even at the last minute. “If you are needing to rent a storage container while doing a remodel, I can't recommend Endeavour Storage enough!!!! We just went through an 6 month remodel. We had to move out our entire first floor. Like most people, I thought my best option was PODS. So I booked them. However, another family on our street was remodeling too. I saw an Endeavour Storage container on their driveway and called for a quote. PODS was going to charge me $319 a month for a 16 foot container. Endeavour-$95 a month for the exact same size!!!! Our Endeavour container just got picked up today after we decided to keep it for 2 extra months so we could do our garage. Over the course of the 8 months, we saved almost $1800!!!! Not to mention that the customer service was exceptional with Endeavour!!! After going over budget on the remodel ?, it was nice to save a lot of money on our storage container!!!!!!”

“Booking is super easy. They keep giving super good deals from time to time. 1st 30 days they also give their truck for free within 20 mile radius which is awesome (bye bye Uhaul). The rental units are super clean and updated. They have signed up with pest control that takes care of facility every 3/6 months. Gated and super safe and secure with plenty of cameras. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Anyone in 94539 should definitely check out this facility.”

“I had rented a storage a few years ago from cube smart.I opened it only to find that rats had been in my storage damaging many of my things. They chewed a hole thru the wall on both sides and rat droppings were every place.It is disgusting and now unsanitary. Everything covered in rat urine and droppings.The rent started at just over $200 and has gone up more than $600.It seems that you are punished for being there. I have lost many items there and what's not runed. Is covered in rat urine and rat droppings.When I told the manager about she told me to report it to my insurance company.I don't even know if that's covered. I can't say that this storage is suitable for storage of anything that you want to keep and you can expect to see rent increases thru out the time you keep your storage with out any cap on what it can end up being.I am still working on sorting out everything including what they are willing to do about my losses.I am not confident about having any help from cube smart so far.Having to deal with this as now everything is toxic and just handling this stuff is now toxic.They do not have control over the rats by any measure. I have all high end furniture in this storage that included a formal dinning room set, couches, end tables a hutch and bed as well as dinning settings and Cristal glasses.I had some twenty boxes or so most have been eaten through by rats.Even a plastic yard storage unit was chewed throu and inside covered in nesting materials that were from the contents of my storage.I filled several garbage cans full of what the rats tore up.I will update this after I find out if they will do anything more than tell me it's my problem.If you rent from here you need to find out how they will deal with this if it happens to you.There is a strong smell of rats as you walk throughout the buildings.I don't feel the more than $600 a month is worth what I have to deal with to move out of this storage loosing many of the items I have been paying to be safe all this time.You would think at best a reduced rental rate would be in order.......Not even offered !”

“So far so good! Although I'm only one day in to my contract. The container is a container. Not much to say except that I'm pleased with the easy to operate doors. See picture. Shout out to the guys in the office, Erich H. and Michael H. Excellent communication. The real super star here is my delivery guy, Christian A. He shoehorned that container into what seemed like an impossible spot. Friendly and professional! Delivery was on time and smooth AF.”

“Recently "Me and Patti" ordered a couple of new LazyBoy Recliners. They got to us a couple of weeks early. Great, yes? No. We weren't expecting them for at least three more weeks. I don't have a pickup or van. What to do? We decided to call our local U-Haul, shipping moving supplies too, and rented a newer looking clean van. Ordering on line is soooo easy. Got to my local U-Haul five minutes early. The office was clean, organized, and with staff ready to help. My guy, Jorge, was the best. Check out was so quick. I would say I was ready to go in less than five minutes. I was thinking " Wow that was easy". Check in , and hello again, Jorge. We got the van back into inventory, less than three minutes. "Who knew? I didn't." So let's put this all together. Quick, easy, rental on line while at your dinner table, way too cool. ( Even with Patti telling me "No phones at the table".) Then flying through check-in and even then more awesome, practically handed Jorge the keys and left. So easy, so happy. And you can be happy too. U-Haul on Thornton Avenue ( right near 880). Need a rental truck or van? Need moving boxes or supplies, U-Haul has you covered. ( Like a warm and fuzzy blanket). Jorge and the rest of the friendly staff are ready to help you get real happy, really easily. "Me and Patti" will be renting a box van on January 2nd 2024. Going to Sacramento to pick up my new (to me) Ducati D2R "Monster 803. Toys for Xmas. Never gets old. We'll let you know how that goes when we return. U-Haul Fremont, ready and very happy to help. “Ordered a U-Haul online, an hour before pick up. Pick up was easy; same day. Returned truck in under four hours. The only thing was when a gallon of gas was added did not move the line, and when 1.5 gallon of gas added, it went up all the way to half a tank. So more gas was added then when we picked up. Return was easy as well and fast.”

“Pack Rat could have done better on the pick up -- it was not clear to us how much space was needed for the truck to fit in our driveway; it needs a lot of space, and few SF driveways are long and wide enough. Luckily, we found an open parking spot adjacent to a Muni bus stop. But we had only 20 minutes to find this solution, and otherwise they would not have delivered the pod that day. So: read carefully about what they need to park a pod and be sure you have precisely that lined up. Once we got the pod successfully, it was very smooth. The biggest positive in the experience was how fast our stuff got from our old home in San Francisco to our new house in western New York! We put an AirTag in the pod to track its progress and watched it cross the country from the warehouse in Benicia, CA, to the warehouse in Webster, NY, over the course of three days. Our stuff was picked up in our old house in San Francisco on a Monday morning, and 12 days later, it was dropped off in our driveway in upstate New York. Because we had an AirTag, we knew it had arrived to the destination warehouse and could schedule an earlier delivery date without additional fees. Overall, we were a little bit sketched out by the negative reviews of the company, but we had none of the bad experiences that we read about here and were overall very satisfied with the service delivered at a great price point. We did not have to contact customer support, so I can't speak to that.”
