“This is an old-school hardware mega store! A living Sears Catalog. I came in for a metric M12–35 hex head capscrew. Not a common item, but they had it. While we waited for our guy to get the part, we were “accosted” by at least 4 additional employees asking if we needed help. WOW, you’re lucky if you can find an employee at a box store. Kudos to you, National!! Well done.”
“I have never had a bad experience at this Ace Hardware location off of Bullard and today was no exception. I live equidistant from Home Depot and Ace Hardware and I choose Ace on Bullard because they always have what I need and the employees there are friendly, willing to help, and are very knowledgeable. On top of that, they tend to go the extra mile for their customers. One such example was the time I showed up right after closing time and they were willing to stay open a little longer to help me get some much needed nuts and bolts that Home Depot didn't stock. I had gone to Home Depot first and there wasn't anyone around to help me find whst I went there for and it took over 20 minutes to get some assistance and then they were out of everything that I needed, which is why I wound up getting to ACE just after closing. They let me in, helped me get what I needed, and got me out the door in no time. I can't stress enough how much I appreciate their service. To me, it just doesn't get any better than that.”

“We used to have an account here so we know everyone pretty much but this day I had to stop here because my car would not hold any water so I called inside asked for the manager Gus to please come outside and he did he looked at my car brought out a couple jugs of water and put them in my car and then looked under it he said it didn't look good and I thanked him for trying to help me and had to try and get my car home. He didn't have to come be done what if a mechanic for me and help but he did because guys is like that he's a good guy and does allot for people he has allot of knowledge and will try and help out when he can.”
“This is the biggest Ace Hardware i had ever seen. It had eveything. I bought some PVC to replace a sprinkler line i broke and had to come back to exchange it, but it was a simple process. Very clean store, clean bathrooms, great customer service and selection. They were giving out cookies in the front to sell power tools”

“What a great place, they have a bunch of tools. As a construction worker, being in this place makes me feel like when a child is at the toy store. They have power tools, ladders, clothes, and safety vests to mention a few. The prices are great. My last purchase was a Martinez Tools hammer which was cheaper than getting it from the Martinez tool’s website.”
“If U need hardware for Ur mobile home call first to make sure that what ur looking for is in stock which I would say is 95%. I've gone there when I need stuff. Just helped a neighbor fix his awning supports. 2 pieces of supports @ $25.00 with no S's. The complete one with the S's $98.00. All prices plus tax.”

“They got so many bathtubs and shiny knobs on the walls, I wanna pulls them all. I picked up a Hamat kitchen faucet, though, after I got tired of all the pullin. A great location to shop if you're looking for serious home upgrades or a PLETHORA of knobs.”
“This store is nice. The help I received was fast when I entered the store. It has many of the things I needed and lots of stuff I could get to restock things at home. The club membership is worth it when you visit here often. Also get the warranty on the electric tools or the tools that will take a beating. It’s worth getting for the replacement. They had the exact parts I needed and I was in and out quickly.”
“I first went to a smaller hardware shop near my house because it was Sunday and I didn't want to go across town to the big box stores. They didn't have what I needed and seeing their prices for something that may have worked, I decided to drive a little further and come to Ace. They had exactly what I needed for less than half the price as that other hardware store. Ace is always well maintained and stocked with more than enough helpful employees even a bunch more at the checkouts. I will not hesitate to come back, ever.”
“Awesome place, friendly, extremely helpful staff, and really good prices on new equipment, plus great repair shop. Very cluttered, which to me, that's what a quality repair shop should look like; lots of customers bringing lots of equipment for repair. Also, an awesome Belgian malinois hangs out behind the counter.”
“Been coming here for years for the company I work for. This dun Edwards in particular. They are always on top of the orders I place. Customizing colors are spot on and Everyone is always nice and friendly. Definitely do recommend this dun Edward.

“Went all around town trying to get a key cut so I can have a spare for my motorcycle. Most places wanted an outrageous amount of money - lehman’s lock and safe charges $10 a key (no discount for multiple keys), a1 locksmith charges $13 and the rest (lowes, Home Depot, the other corporate owned ace hardwares, and true value) don’t cut blank keys that aren’t already in their inventory. I was able to get my blank key cut here and they charge around $2 per key. Took the guy about two minutes and they didn’t charge me today so I thought I’d pay another way by writing this review. Thanks!!”

“If you're looking for plumbing parts and such, this is a good place to start. The hubby is adding a bath at our place, so I've made a few trips to FPS with him recently. When you first walk in, the store doesn't look that big, but there's tons of stuff there and the store has a back part, too, aside from where the customers are. The guys who work there are very knowledgeable and friendly. It looks like FPS is a favorite of a lot of plumbing companies around town, as I've seen a lot of names (of local plumbing companies) on customer's shirts while we've been there. Oh, and if you need lots of receipts for whatever you're purchasing, they've got you covered. We get several copies. Lol. Support the local businesses first!”
