The University Square Hotel offers a mixed experience for its guests. While the rooms are generally clean and spacious, with some guests reporting hot water and quiet nights, the overall condition of the building and facilities is a concern. The lobby has an old-timey charm, and the staff are described as incredibly nice, polite, and helpful, even when addressing issues like malfunctioning refrigerators, missing remote controls, and lack of an elevator. Some rooms show signs of neglect, with dirty floors, TV stands, and even the presence of a small roach. The building itself is described as old and needing attention, with the exterior in a state of disrepair. Despite these drawbacks, the hotel's location is convenient, with nearby activities and fast food options within walking distance. Overall, the University Square Hotel provides a reasonable rate for a one-night stay, but guests may encounter some inconsistencies in the quality of the accommodations.
Seems cool at first but is a very filthy place and the owners are no good attitude people that I can't wait to give up ownership to a much better manager. Bed bugs and roaches everywhere. Homeless people everywhere and in n out of the building because some doors are broken. Nit very safe as they try n make it seem

Probably the worst place to stay. I wouldn’t recommend for families with children. Walls are thin, can hear everyone and they momma! Online advertises pool and breakfast, THATS A LIE! Hotel is run down, room stinks, homeless people everywhere. And it’s literally not safe. Sooooo pay the extra money to go elsewhere!
