“I'd rate it higher if i could! Never felt more welcomed anywhere! Marty was amazing and so fun to talk to that we went on about music for even an hour after closing! Now i own the most amazing fringe leather jacket and Dokken shirt! Along with a free Dokken pin he threw in ??Trust me when i say this place is VERY much worth a visit! Definitely my new favorite place to go and i will without a doubt be coming back soon! ??”
“I accidentally stumbled upon this quaint and beautiful little gem ?
The beautiful kimono caught my eye as I was passing by.. I grabbed it since it was such a great price! Along with a beautiful earthy green light sweater. I stepped inside and was taken away.. so many incredible vintage pieces... From dishes, to tea sets, to jewelry.. beautiful vintage clothing.. Christmas decorations.. to one of kind dressers and nightstands.. I didn't have much time, but did manage to make way into every corner of nostalgic decor. I will be back.. I will bring my girls and we will make sure to make the time and enjoy every single moment.
I also had the absolute privilege of meeting Lan, a beautiful young lady who took the time to enjoy a heartfelt conversation ❣️
Everything about this gem ? is full of love and humility. I encourage anyone who enjoys handmade jewelry, vintage dish sets, glamorous clothes, nostalgic finds and kindness from a beautiful vendor.. go and visit this magical place. I promise you won't be disappointed ❣️
Thank you ???”
“Since we don't have a Goodwill thrift store in our neighborhood I had to discover a place where I can get good deals on clothes and find useful tools, ext. cords....I found Yoshi's and it was only Two blocks from my apt. They have a lot of neat stuff inside and they get new items every week.”

“I moved to Fresno 5 years ago and had to stop by to check out the store. I brought my daughter with me because we always went to the one in Visalia. First I just want to say the employees are so friendly and inviting and decorated the store beautifully. We found so many wonderful treasures that spark joy. We will definitely come back often to check out new merchandise. Thank you ACS for all the great work you do for people. I will be a lifelong supporter in this community.”
“Parabolic is a beautiful shop, always stocked with a wide range of high-quality vintage and antique items! The owner-Tony-is extremely knowledgeable and has a fabulous eye for art and design.”
“I have purchased several furs from Gia and I must say they are AMAZING, GORGEOUS, and SUPERB QUALITY! Gia always answers all of my questions, goes above and beyond what is needed to make her customers happy, and I would not go anywhere else to purchase more furs. You cannot go wrong with a purchase from Eluxurie Boutique.”

“All of the Salvation Army thrift stores in my area are awesome. The employees stand out as so friendly, helpful and personable. They make shopping there very pleasant!”
“I walked in with a group of four of my friends on Saturday afternoon, and was thoroughly impressed by this gorgeous little shop. Everything is organized so clearly size and color. There’s so many beautiful articles of clothing and impeccable condition with namebrand labels. Each of us bought a few items and received excellent prices. We appreciate how you created an environment where we felt welcomed to shop and enjoy each other’s company.”
“In order to get back into my job I needed my Social security card but since I mis placed my first one I thought of going in person to the Hall of Records but to my surprise someone told me they moved to a different office. It's where the Immigration used to be, now it's called Social Security Administration Office. But when I got there they had already closed at 4:00 pm...Now I know for next time.”

“My husband and I have visited this business half a dozen times at least since moving from San Francisco and we have bought 3 pieces from them: an outdoor patio table, a kitchen island and a dining room cupboard. We really like their style. The pieces are simple but sophisticated and the prices are very reasonable. To top it off, both Cruz and his dad and really nice people... whenever you shop there they offer you a bottle of cold water and are very pleasant to chat with. It is always fun to stop by and admire their most recent creations.”
“I have loved this salvation army store for years. the building next door on the left side was Standard Brands paint store 50 years ago and I loved that place too . to paint and wallpaper our house and for the hobbycrafts... But always good quality clothing and kitchenware and housewares at this salvation army store. Yesterday Friday I was truly disappointed because the sign inside the store said 50% off on all clothing. shoes and accessories. I even verified this when I talked to a man working in the store with salvation army vest on . He said yes. this means 50% off on the two fanny packs I wanted that were in my shopping cart. those are accessories he said... But when I got to the cash register the woman said no fanny packs are called purses and they are not accessories. they are full price. two tiny little fanny packs where $7 each. that's outrageous if you are poor like me. I only wanted them to hold my cell phone. nothing else would fit inside them , they were little... so I did not get them. didn't have the money... but I have been to other thrift stores for the last 50 years , buying all school clothes and toys for my five kids , And for myself and my husband , and they always told me the word accessories means purses, belts, neckties, scarves , and stuff like that. so yesterday this salvation army store has their own new definition of accessories and they are saying that it does not include purses and fanny packs etc. every couple years one of my sons will buy me a new fanny pack for my birthday and I wear it every day of the year for a purse around my waist . Because I've had ADD all my life which makes me forgetful and I might accidentally set my purse down somewhere and lose it , like in a shopping cart for instance and it would get stolen... My son always buys the fanny packs at Walmart in the section with the fishing poles ,so that is not purses. They are not sold anywhere near the purses in the store... Fanny packs are fishing gear accessories. they are not purses... The ones at the thrift store are so small their only use would be for carrying a cell phone so that would certainly be a cell phone accessory, not a purse... anyway, the two women cashiers both said the fanny packs were purses and would not let me buy them for half price even though the sign in the store said purses and accessories and shoes are all half price. my best friend , age 82 , was with me and she also told me to look at all the women in line who are buying nothing but purses they might buy two purses . one woman had five purses and nothing else in her shopping cart. boy are they in for a surprise when they get to the cash register. that's what she told me... I think the person who is head of all salvation army stores better write down in black and white the definition of accessories and have it clearly posted in all salvation army stores to prevent unhappiness and frustration from the patrons. I also wanted to buy a nice little cloth summer hat but I didn't it is so frustrating we really Wear it on our head. therefore, I would think that is clothing and it should be 50% off. but in the past whenever I've tried to buy a hat for 50% off and all the clothing is half off, the cashiers won't ever let me. they always say a hat is not clothing and it won't let me buy it for half off. so that's why I knew yesterday that I could not buy that hat. I wanted it. I need it . At my age old lady's just give up on trying to fix our hair.. since age 2 years old we have spent decades trying to sleep at night with lots of hard curlers rollers in our hair. very hard to get any sleep at all. then we spent decades having burned ears from curling irons. we just give up and say give me a hat and let me die in peace.”
“Great store with awesome vintage tees and also new “bootleg” shirts that you can’t find anywhere in the valley. Don’t wanna go to the mall but still have a fresh fit? This is definitely the spot. Great looking spot inside as well. If you haven’t been here you definitely have to check it out”
“Neurodivergent review for the ND homies
Layout - the sections are very organized and clearly labeled. Each section is broken down into media types then category. Example DVDs -> horror, comedy, ect. The isles are fairly wide and clear.
Stimulation - the music was a bit on the louder side but the lights were not super bright. Anyone with big noise sensitivity may just need sound dampening headphones! It wasn’t too busy or crowded. It was very clean, no funky smells or clutter.
Media options - omg! There were books, records, VHS, bluerays, DVDs, ect. I found some hidden gems for someone whose fav series is now a struggle to find online!!
Staff - the staff were all so sweet and helpful! I’ve heard from others as well that this place is pretty friendly towards ND folks
Overall - chill vibe, great place to spend 5 mins or hours, in my option, ND accessible if accommodations for noise are brought ??”
“I have been going to Goodwill as long as I can remember. This is my most favorite store by far. Definitely one of the cleanest locations, and a very friendly staff also.”
“This is without a doubt one of my favorite thrifts in Fresno. I always leave with a bag full of amazing finds! The staff are extremely friendly and helpful, and the cashiers and manager have always greeted me with a smile. I frequent thrifts around the Central Valley, and I don't get that same professional and welcoming atmosphere. When I go there I feel comfortable to take my time and look around. I mainly thrift for vintage clothes and antiques, and there's a wonderful selection here the past few times I've been in (I have to quit halfway through because I'm exhausted/have too much stuff already, so I still haven't made it to the bric-a-brac ?). Also, the store is extremely clean and organized. A lot of thrifts have a musty/dusty aroma, but this one is truly a breath of fresh air (no pun intended)! Keep in mind that Goodwills don't have dressing rooms, but they do have mirrors at the end of aisles to try things on over your clothes. I like to wear a pair of leggings and a tank top to make it easy. There is a lot of room to walk around the store (it's not cramped like a lot of the other thrifts). The racks are well-kept and not packed so tightly that you can't browse quickly. I might be wrong about this, but I do believe that this Goodwill allows returns for a few days after purchase (has to be at this same location where you purchased the item at). I just moved out to the country near this area, and I didn't realize how many stores are out here (Walmart is down the street and they just built a Ross/are building a Target nextdoor). Thanks again to the awesome folks at the Goodwill on Kings Canyon! ☺️”
“Well organized and clean. Has a pretty decent selection. A little pricey, i think they should definitely offer some daily specials or tag color discount items. Everyone wants to feel like they got a bargain and the across the board pricing on everything with no deals to be found doesn't feel like a bargain.. I definitely think it made me buy less not more. . Overall pretty nice store.”
“Best affordable clothes for any occasion and you will never have to worry about getting rid of them again because they will never get rid of you no pun intended. Great store to sell your old clothes to and get some new treasured clothes.”
“I spend at least an hour and a half in this store every time I visit. There's so much to look at, and there's something for everyone. Brass, vintage clothing, furniture. Each booth has its own personality and it's so fun to look through each of them.”
