“I recently stumbled upon the Assistance League in Fullerton and let me tell you, it's like finding a thrift store run by a team of super-friendly, do-gooder superheroes! First off, the place is so clean you could eat off the floor - if you were into that sort of thing, which, let's be honest, who isn't after a good thrift store rummage?
The volunteers? Absolute gems. They greeted me like I was a long-lost cousin at a family reunion where everyone actually likes each other. I swear, one lady was so sweet, I half-expected her to bake me cookies on the spot. And the selection! I found a dinosaur pancake mold from Williams-Sonoma for 50 cents - my breakfasts just got a Jurassic upgrade!
But here's the real kicker: every penny you spend here goes back into the community. They're like the Robin Hood of Fullerton, except instead of stealing from the rich, they're just really good at thrift-shopping and giving back. They help kids with school clothes, seniors with meals, and families in need during the holidays. It's like shopping with a conscience, where your wallet feels good and your heart does too.
So, if you're looking for a place where you can find cool stuff, meet the friendliest humans on earth, and feel like you've done something good, the Assistance League in Fullerton is your spot. Just watch out for the vintage VHS tapes - they might just convince you to start a '90s movie night club. Five stars, would thrift again”
“OC United is an exceptional community service organization whose efforts improve the lives of so many people, one by one, heart to heart, relationship-centered outreach. Please volunteer or donate or reach out to them for help.”
“Tara's Chance is an incredible organization. The staff is always ready to go above and beyond, and their strong commitment to their riders is so apparent. They put a smile on people's faces, and they provide the children with the ability to ride a horse, have fun, and grow stronger. They truly are a light to this community.”
“Love this place. It’s a Great atmosphere. The nurses & volunteers are All Wonderful. I started my journey of donating blood since my senior year back in high school (1982-1983) and during the decades gone by tried to keep up, but unfortunately one forgets about donating during them times, but lo & behold there Pop up Blood Donating Busses showed up in my neighborhood & I got back into the swing of things ??? ??? I’m so Happy that I’ve been able to donate again because I know firsthand just how much Donating blood is so much needed. Anybody reading this is who has been contemplating donating blood, PLEASE DO SO. YOU COULD BE THAT ONE PERSON IN SAVING SEVERAL LIVES with your 1 donation. It’s easy & pretty quick.? JESUS ? LOVES YOU ”
“I stayed here 2 years ago with my 2 year old during Christmas and they really made my daughter feel so loved during Christmas. They offer so much help. They really are a god sent. Great place”
“I'm fighting an unconstitutional CCW scheme out of Riverside County where sheriff Chad Bianco is acting like he's pro second amendment but he's not. CRPA and Michele and Associates are helping me to start a suit against Riverside for using Arbitrary rules and subjective standards. Remember Chad Bianco is a politician and not a real sheriff. I'm going to expose this. Thank you CRPA for fighting for the rights of Californians. I was denied my CCW based only on the name I use Dawud. My investigator was very rude to me and brought up my YouTube channel which back then only had me speaking on morality and videos of me Pulling, splicing, and testing fiber optics cable. He mentioned my YouTube name and I could tell he didn't like it and is more than likely anti semitic and hates Arabic people because when he mentioned my name he made it sound kind he caught me doing something wrong. I just responded "Yeah I have YouTube. It's just a hobby and I enjoy making videos". Next thing you know after 1 year of waiting for CCW I get an email I was denied. I spoke to the front office the other day and they confirmed yes they are getting many calls in regards to denials and Riverside is one of the top offenders. Also they are turning away trainers for CCW classes and only want certain people to hold the monopoly in the market. I spoke to a trainer one day at a gun show and he said the same guy who runs the CCW unit who was my investigator was being a real jerk and was rude to him. Join, donate and volunteer for CRPA. They are making a difference in California.”
