“I recently stumbled upon the Assistance League in Fullerton and let me tell you, it's like finding a thrift store run by a team of super-friendly, do-gooder superheroes! First off, the place is so clean you could eat off the floor - if you were into that sort of thing, which, let's be honest, who isn't after a good thrift store rummage?
The volunteers? Absolute gems. They greeted me like I was a long-lost cousin at a family reunion where everyone actually likes each other. I swear, one lady was so sweet, I half-expected her to bake me cookies on the spot. And the selection! I found a dinosaur pancake mold from Williams-Sonoma for 50 cents - my breakfasts just got a Jurassic upgrade!
But here's the real kicker: every penny you spend here goes back into the community. They're like the Robin Hood of Fullerton, except instead of stealing from the rich, they're just really good at thrift-shopping and giving back. They help kids with school clothes, seniors with meals, and families in need during the holidays. It's like shopping with a conscience, where your wallet feels good and your heart does too.
So, if you're looking for a place where you can find cool stuff, meet the friendliest humans on earth, and feel like you've done something good, the Assistance League in Fullerton is your spot. Just watch out for the vintage VHS tapes - they might just convince you to start a '90s movie night club. Five stars, would thrift again”
“I love this place. I love that they are all volunteers and all the money they make goes to charity unlike most thrift stores. All of the ladies are super friendly and sweet. I donate lots of stuff to this place as well as shop for my kids clothes.”
“Best place for young people to buy trendy clothes at a tremendous discount. I see a lot of young people who have figured that out and load their cart. Also a lot of sleepers, quality items that other shops might pass on because they take up too much floor space. Ask for Mitch for the newest bargains.?”
“I went into the store because I had some extra time, I walked out with more than I thought. This is the cleanest most organized Goodwill I have ever been too, also the workers were the friendliest people ready to help when needed. I will definitely come back to shop some more at this specific store!”
“One of the few vintage stores I've visited that doesn't price their stock like it's rare collectibles from the age of pharaohs. Even quality, rare items were priced reasonably. This place cares about customers coming back.
What makes Buffalo Exchange so wonderful is that they do have a huge stock of good vintage clothing (as well as plenty of non-vintage), it is well curated, and the staff are friendly and helpful.
I didn't realize how good Buffalo Exchange was until I went to another vintage shop across the street, where the selection wasn't half as good but its prices were twice as high.”
“Great selection of quality thrifted and antiqued goods. Impressive density in a smaller space. Mostly closely but good furniture and other house accessories. Definitely worth checking out if you're nearby.”
