“Great location, clean, comfortable bed, quiet and friendly staff. We even jumped in the hot tub outside which was great. Really happy we stayed here and wouldn’t hesitate to go back if in the area. The Jack London Saloon was a great place to grab a feed and have a beer. Enjoy”

“The vineyard views are surreal, absolutely soul nourishing. Staff is friendly and very helpful. Location just before St Helena is perfect. The is the most romantic resort in wine country.”
“Great over all experience. Will definitely return in the future. Walking distance to town and other events. The only reason I gave the rooms 4 stars was the bathroom. Someone needs to attend to the toilet and tub wall.”
“We visited the Meadowood Spa and similar to the rest of their facilities, the Spa does not disappoint.
Perfection. As soon as you walk through the door, you wish time can stop. From the moment you walk through the doors, you're greeted with warm friendly staff. The welcome area is so calming you can just fall asleep on the couch. We made reservations for a couples massage package, and a mustard bath. The locker rooms were in perfect working conditions. The outdoor rest area with the umbrella was so inviting although you'll be sharing the space with a few bugs. The small snacks, tea and fruit was a nice touch. Nice spacious steam rooms with an outdoor shower in perfect working order. The only thing absent was a jacuzzi. The couple massage was very good and relaxing, and the baths are a must try. The bath rooms have a partial open to the element so you can enjoy the outdoor scene while relaxing and soaking in the tub.
Overall this place is a definite repeat, and reservations are recommended.”
“We couldn’t have asked for a more stunning and magical location than MacArthur Place for our destination wedding in Sonoma, CA!
Not only is the venue beautiful, but the staff was exceptional. They were incredibly accommodating and worked closely with us, making sure every detail was handled with care. They were flexible, supportive, and truly invested in making our wedding day flawless. We couldn’t have done it without their hospitality.
We also highly recommend working with Alyssa Bray-Events, who helped us bring our vision to life and made the entire process stress-free. They worked seamlessly with the venue to ensure every detail was perfect. In addition, Alicia Parks Photography was incredible at capturing the beauty of the venue and the joy of the day, creating memories we will cherish forever.
If you're looking for a wedding venue in Sonoma with an amazing team behind it, MacArthur Place is absolutely the place. We are so grateful to have had our wedding here, and it was truly the best day of our lives!”
“Best hotel I’ve ever stayed at. Everyone was very nice, but Matt and Craig in the valet were awesome! They went above and beyond to make sure me and my wife were comfortable. She was in a wheelchair and they made everything pleasant. The ladies at the spa were awesome too, even the lady that did the watsu massage. Everything was right there at my fingertips. It didn’t matter if it rained. Umbrellas were at every place in the hotel… in the rooms, lobbies, spa, valet. This hotel was awesome.
It was such a relaxing experience.
I also liked that you could order food from anywhere in the area, like the bath house and it was delivered. My neck was aching me for weeks, but after I got in the mineral infused jacuzzi, it has not been hurting me since.
Housekeeping responded immediately. Everything was perfect!”

“Sonoma Creek Inn is a cozy, clean little gem to stay at while visiting the Sonoma/Napa area. Rooms are comfortable and the bathroom is cute....we stayed in an upstairs unit and we were surprised by the volume of the street noise thru our open window for a Thurs night in July...but still worthwhile....”

“This is a charming Victorian house which is well taken care of. It's definitely like stepping back into the past with plenty of antiques and a nice warm fireplace. The rooms are clean and comfortable, but the bathroom shower is rather small. Great value and would definitely come back here again.”

“Had the chance to stop in for a tasting a bit ago and was impressed to be honest. Out of all the years I have resided, I have actually never stepped into this hotel, so actually was excited to see the inside. Lets just say it did not disappoint and really matches the general aesthetics of the rest of the Sonoma square. Fast forward to the tasting, a standard format of regional wines most are accustomed to seeing. Price point for all of them were on point, so no complaints there, but the tasting was a little higher than most around on the square, but then again you are downtown, so there is that. Overall I enjoyed all of the wine, but opted to not try the Chardonnay due to not being an overall fan of the varietal. Host was extremely generous as well, so three cheers on that front. Top it off with a ton of food options nearby and it makes it an easy choice for future visits or other first timers.”

“Amazing hotel and experience. The location is perfect to walk anywhere. They have their own private parking in the back and tons of wineries close by or tasting rooms right in town. The decor is traditional and cozy. Transforms you to another time. The fireplace in the room was so relaxing after a long day out and about. While the hotel is in the main center of the city and rooms are all on the second floor, the hotel splurged for thick doors and seals for a quiet nights rest. The service is also great. Very clear and set proper expectations. They offer a free tasting either on site or at their property in Kenwood. GO TO the winery in Kenwood!! It was such a beautiful property and the wine is amazing. Will definitely stay here again.”
“Can't go wrong with a BW
|but the the breakfast area is way too small for the size of the place
Food & drinks: breakfast area is part of restaurant on the property but they use a really small part of it for the breakfast, get there early of consider other options”

“Perfect for a stay in Sonoma. Easy parking, great hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. Good breakfast and light refreshments available during the day. Excellent location. Would stay again.”
“This is now my favorite place to stay in the wine country. The restoration of this historical beauty is fantastic. The small, quaint rooms is perfect. Mary and her husband Nick have created marvelous atmosphere for any visitor. The antique furnishings are incredible. History oozes throughout. An added wine bar adds to the hotels charm.”
“Looks like a nice, relaxing, homelylike, clean & serene place to spend some relaxation time. It's a quiet place walking distance from the tourist area at the Square downtown. It's beautiful and clean.”
“We had booked the room via Expedia and had to cut short our trip but otherwise the stay was good. It's a quiet area where this hotel is located. It's an okay old time hotel room. The only change I saw was that there were Tesla car charging stations built newly in the campus.”
“Rooms were clean. Didn’t really interact with the front desk besides checking in. The location isn’t great. There is a homeless community which doesn’t make the area walkable.”

“My wife and I had a wonderful time staying here to celebrate our 20th anniversary. The room was very nice and spacious as was the bathroom. Pool facility was nice - although hot tub jet needs fixing. The complimentary wine tasting is a nice touch. Would definitely stay here again!”

“This was nice ? I don't know how did I get a deal for the price ? usually it's on expensive side ? but I needed a place to sleep over because of work and usually stay in the more affordable places, but I felt the difference as soon as I walked service, atmosphere, amenities, everything just on the next level, I mean... it felt nice ?”
“Olea Hotel is a very peaceful low-key spot near “downtown” Glen Ellen. Very friendly staff, lots of amenities: pool & hot tub, nice breakfast, welcome wine, super-comfy beds and nice outdoor spaces offering both shade & sun. Rooms are attractive with fireplace and big tv.”
