“I beg to differ with some of the negative comments I've just seen here. If you look closer you'll see that despite a few random one-star reviews, UFCW gets a string of solid positive messages from their customers. Consumers need to understand and remember that a customer service representative (CSR) is there to assist YOU and didn't cause the problem... just trying to find a solution. They don't deserve some of the rude, obnoxious treatment from angry people who turn on them for simply trying to help.Yes, I had some trouble with getting open enrollment to go through recently. Yes, it was mostly MY fault since I waited until the last minute. Yes, their phone system was overwhelmed. Yes, the online website was crashing and acting funky overall due to high traffic.However, a kind member of the CSR team from UFCW helped me with the final process. So, thank you DANICA for all of your assistance, patience, and understanding.”

“I see all of these negative reviews, and I feel very sorry that the customers had negative experiences. That being said, I have had VSP vision insurance for several years, and I have never experienced any problems with them. I have always been able to find optometrists who accept my VSP insurance and who are highly skilled and polite. I usually receive my eye exams at Visionworks, and their optometrists always figure out my challenging prescriptions as well as how to submit claims for the VSP insurance. Maybe I have a different plan that what the other reviewers have (I receive my VSP insurance through my husband's employer), but my VSP insurance covers most of the cost of my eye exams, contact lenses, eyeglasses, and prescription sunglasses. For example, today my husband and I bought eyeglasses and contact lenses at Visionworks, and each of our eyeglasses with designer frames and polycarbonate lenses cost only $45 out of pocket. Non-designer eyeglasses would have been free. I ordered extra contact lenses, and my cost was steeply discounted for those also.”
